Els POV
I woke up to mike crying, holding me in his arms, his head nuzzled into my shoulder. He was muttering to himself as he cried. I couldn't quite hear him properly but I heard him say: "I love you el.... please be ok..... I... I can't live without you..." Oh my god. What. I struggled to speak.
"I...I love you too mike...." I whispered smiling. He looked up in shock, his red eyes wide.
"Wha... what did you say?" He asked looking shocked.
"I... I said I love you too..." he pulled away for a minute before pulling me back towards him. He buried his head in my hair and cried happy tears. His hands clutched my waist and hand as if he was never gonna let go. But honestly I wouldn't mind that at all. He wrapped his legs around me as we sat on the floor of the blanket fort so I was nestled in his lap and his arms snaked around me, pulling me closer. He planted a kiss on my head. Then another on my forehead. Then on my eyebrow. Then my nose. He looked deep into my eyes before closing his and planting a soft sweet kiss on my lips. He tightened his grasp around me as he pulled away. I cuddled into his neck and he rested his chin on my head whilst playing with my hair. This was bliss.
Mikes POV
I cuddled her gently, the feel of the kiss still lingered on my lips. I longed to kiss her again, to feel that closeness and live in that moment of complete perfection once more, but I didn't know if she wanted to (oh she wanted to) so I fought the urge and simply cuddled her. She pulled away and began to plant tiny sweet little kisses on my neck where her head was rested. She was doing so completely innocently but for me it was torture. My breathing hitched and l slightly clenched my fists. It was genuinely causing me physical pain to have to fight the urge to not just kiss her like I wanted to so badly, in the hope of not pressuring her or scaring her. She looked up and me, smiling that sweet innocent little smile and kissed me on the cheek, only missing my lips by a few centromeres. I smiled and hugged her close as to prevent myself from kissing her like I so badly wanted to, so badly needed to. I kissed her forehead and rested my head on hers. I slowly began to lay back, pulling el with me until we were laid side by side. I looked at her. She was so beautiful it actually blows my mind. I didn't think it was this possible to love someone this much. El shifted in my arms to face me and I quickly diverted my gaze so it didn't look like I was staring at her.
"Mike," she said softly. I looked down at her again. She leaned up and kissed the tip of my nose softly and giggled. If only she knew what she was doing to me. I lifted my hand to her face and cupped her cheek, swirling my thumb in little circles on her face. I looked into her eyes to realise she was already staring deep into mine. She moved her hand up from my chest to the back of my neck, burying her fingers in my hair. My breath hitched. Her lips were but a few centimetres away from mine and I ached to kiss her. I shuffled forward slightly, moving my other hand onto her tiny waist. I was nervous now, scared of her reaction. She looked at me before planting an agonisingly slow kiss on the corner of my lips. Fuck it. This was too much for me to handle. I leaned in and pushed my lips against hers. It felt good. It felt...right. After a bit I began to move my lips a little. I hadn't done this before so I didn't know how it goes. I just did what felt right. We began to move our lips in sync, slowly melting into each other. I moved my hand from her face to her hair, intertwining my fingers with her curls. After about 2 minutes she parted her lips slightly. (Ew help I always cringe writing this bit🤢) I slowly moved my tongue forward, investigating. The tip of my tongue began to slide through her parted lips and felt her tongue graze mine slightly. It gave me goosebumps.

A\N OK SO EW THAT LAST BIT MADE ME CRINGE WRITING IT BUT IF U WANT ME TO CONTINUE IT I WILL. I COULD DO A TIME JUMP ON THE NEXT CHAPTER OR JUST CONTINUE FROM NOW, LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS.
