Mikes POV
Us boys sat sheepishly whilst el built the fire, then lit it, then expertly cooked the bacon and sausage, even going as far as to season it with some wild garlic and coriander she found. Max and Lucas had arrived and my suspicion of what they did last night grew as max sat on Lucas's lap. For me and el, this would be something we did all the time, but they weren't like us. They undoubtedly liked each other, just not as much as el and I. So now that they were suddenly all... 'mileveny' as everyone else called it, it was weirding me out. I couldn't think too much about it though as El handed out the paper plates and came and sat between my legs, leaning back so her head was under my chin. We sat in a circle around the crackling fire as the wind picked up a bit, making it slightly bitter. El was shivering a bit so I took of my oversized brown leather jacket and placed it over her shoulders, somehow it perfectly matched her outfit. We all finished our food and threw the plates in the fire.
"So, what yous wanna do?" Lucas asked putting tiny braids in Max's hair, actually doing so really well, making her look like a mermaid.
"Ooh, we should do truth or dare!" Dustin suggested. It was a pretty good idea. I shrugged and nodded.
"Yeah k. Max, truth or dare?" I asked.
"Truth." She said after a moment of consideration.
"What the fuck did you and Lucas do last night?" I asked the question that was clearly on everyone's mind as everyone else nodded and looked at them questioningly. Both Lucas and max were blushing.
"Uh, we Uh... we just made out a bit." She said.
"Hmmmmm yah alright." I said sarcastically.
"El, truth or dare?" Max asked.
"Dare." She confirmed after a bit of contemplation.
"I dare you to kiss the hottest person in this circle." She said. What a shitty dare. To my absolute disbelief she stood up, walked over to max and pecked her lightly on the lips. Oh my fucking god. She returned to me and sat in my lap again. Lucas, Will and Dustins jaws hung open. Mine too. Woah. She looked around the circle. Max had a smirk on her face.
"Jealous much?" She asked me cockily. Is that just girls do? Just kiss each other casually?
"Will!" El said, completely oblivious to everyone's obvious shookethness.
"Truth or dare?" She asked.
"Truth." He replied instantly. "Wills rule 1: never do dares." He said defiantly.
"Ok if you could only save one of us from a zombie apocalypse, which one of us would it be?" She asked. He thought for a while.
"So only two people out of this circle can live?" He asked. She nodded.
"Yup."
"Ok, I'd save el," he stated. Everyone gasped in fake offence.
"Yeah yeah let me finish!" He said.
"Then, I would kill myself and let mike live, because I know he will look after my baby sis and I can't bear to separate mileven." He said.
"Awwww, will!" El said, giving him a hug before returning back to me. For once, I felt fine with el and will. It was nice. I smiled.
"Ok, mike, truth or dare?" Will asked. It wasn't anything I had to think about.
"Dare," I said almost as quickly as Will said Truth. There was no way I was telling my secrets to the group. Nooooo way.
"Shazam!" Will shouted. Oh shit. Shazam was something we made up on a rainy day out of boredom and a game we now play quite often. You get ten seconds to say as much about a given subject as possible.
"Shoot," I said, readying myself.
"Shazam ELEVEN!" Will shouted. I began in an instant.
"She is absolutely fucking amazing, I love her more than anything on this earth, she is absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't ask for a better girlfriend, she is the most pure person I've ever met and has a heart of gold and I love her so so so much she is the only person on the planet hotter than me!" I blurted, really out of breath from talking so fast. Half of that was probably gibberish anyway. She looked up at me and kissed me. I hugged her close. I didn't wanna do shit in front of her brother who was already looking at me, eyebrows raised and all. I wrapped my arms around her and lay my cheek on her head.
"Ok mike can I have your go?" Dustin asked. "Ok mike, truth or dare?" I sighed.
"I just went!" I complained. "I'm not doing another dare!" I whined.
"Ok truth then: why the hell do you get so jealous of Will and el?" He asked. Will looked up from the ground, his eyes meeting mine briefly. Oh fuck me.
