"No." James immediately blurted out.
"What?" Riley asked as she turned to him, confused as to why he was lying.
"Yes Piper," Riley started as she turned back to the younger girl, "this is where The Challenge is happening, are you auditioning?"
"I am!" Piper confirmed, beaming. "I'm kind of nervous though, I don't know anyone."
Riley tilted her head in thought for a moment before asking, "You've met Michelle before, right?"
"Yeah..." Piper answered, unsure where she was going with this.
At Piper's answer, Riley looked around the room before finding the person she was looking for.
"Allison!" The brunette yelled, surprising Piper and making Allison jump as she turned to look at Riley, confusion evident on her face.
Riley waved her over, so Allison obliged, still confused.
"Allison," Riley started, "this is Piper, James' younger sister, she's here for The Challenge."
"Oh cool!" Allison remarked. "That means there could be another A Trouper with an older sibling who works here!"
"Piper, Allison here is one of the Dance Captains of A Troupe and one of Michelle's sisters." Riley explained.
"You can't audition." James suddenly spoke up, making the three girls turn to him.
"What? James-" Piper started, expecting this and ready to argue her way into The Challenge, but her brother cut her off.
"No, I don't want to hear it. Does mum even know you're here? I'm calling her, I'm calling her right now." James rambled as he pulled his phone out of his pocket.
"She knows I'm here! She's actually the one who gave me the courage to even come here." Piper explained.
"Pipes," James started softly, "everyone here is the best of the best, I don't want you to get hurt if you don't get in."
"I don't care about that. At least if I do audition, I'll know that I tried my hardest instead of just giving up." Piper argued.
"I like her." Allison piped up. "What styles do you dance?"
"Mostly just contemporary and ballet." Piper answered back nervously since she was a little bit intimidated by the fact that she was talking to the Co Captain of the team that just won Regionals.
"Do you do any acro?"
"No."
"Well that's fine," Allison started, "as long as you're good at contemporary and ballet, I'd say you have a pretty good shot of making it onto the team."
"Really?" Piper asked, her eyes lighting up.
"Totally! Do you want to come stretch with my sister and my best friend?" Allison asked, and Piper grinned, beaming.
