The next day, A Troupe plus Michelle and Kate are backstage yet again as they watch the small group they're going up against perform.
As Allison looks around however, she notices that someone's missing.
"Hey, has anyone seen Cole?" Allison asked.
"Wait what? He's not here?" Henry asked.
"We're about to go on!" Jordan said, starting to panic.
"I'm here! I'm here!" Cole said as he ran up to the team, panting for breath.
"Yeah but your costume's a mess." April said, frowning.
"It is?" Cole asked, but once he looked down at his costume, he muttered an 'oh' and adjusted it.
"Can The Next Step please take the stage?"
"Good luck guys!" Kate and Michelle yelled as Henry, Cole, Noah and Jordan walked on stage.
As the boys do their dance to Never Get Lost, the rest of the team watches on the sidelines, praying that they win this round.
After all, if they do, they would be making TNS history.
"They're doing so good!" Richelle said to Allison, beaming as she watched Noah do a flip that made the crowd go crazy.
Once the dance was done, the audience gave all burst into applause.
"The team going onto the Duet round is... The Next Step!"
At that, all of A Troupe, plus Michelle and Kate burst into cheers and screams as the boys made their way backstage.
"Congrats babe!" Richelle squealed as she hugged Noah.
"Jordan that was amazing!" Allison said.
"Thanks Alli!" Jordan said, beaming down at Allison.
"Hey Cole congratu-" Piper started as she walked up to Cole, but he just brushed her off and ran off to who knows where.
"Congratulations Henry." Piper said to Henry instead, although in her mind she was still thinking about how Cole brushed her off.

"Hey man," West said to James as he and Eldon walked up to him in the corridors later that day, "you alright?"
"Yeah, I just kind of wish that we could have gone to Nationals all those years ago, you know?" James said in one of his more serious moments. "I'd just love to experience what the current A Troupe is experiencing right now."
