"Emily, hey!" Alfie said.
"What are you doing here?" Emily asked, still grinning.
"Well my father gave me a while off my duties and I thought that I'd spend them with my favourite girl, where is she?" Alfie asked excitedly.
"She's around here somewhere," Emily said, looking around before she spotted her sister talking to Michelle, "Riley! Look who's here!"
Riley then stopped her conversation with Michelle and walked over to her sister. "Hey Em, what's going- Alfie?! Oh my god, hi!"
"Hey Riles." Alfie said, hugging Riley and she instantly hugged back as James slowly backed away from the reunited couple, suddenly feeling sick.
"Hey man, let's go home, alright?" Eldon said in one of his wiser moments, West also nodding along.
As James walks out of Studio A with Eldon and West, Riley sees him walking off with his head down, and tries not to feel bad. Besides, he was the one who cheated, and she's allowed to date whoever she wants!
"Riley?" Piper asks, noticing that her brother had left the building. "Who's this?"
"Oh," Riley starts, turning to all of A Troupe who were slowly coming down from their excitement, "everybody, this is Alfie, my boyfriend."
Instantly, Allison scrunched her face up in thought. She knew Izzy was slowly starting to ship Jiley, and also knew that her little sister didn't need more bad news today.
"Uh, Miss Kate?" Allison pipes up and Kate turns to her with an eyebrow raised in question. "Is it alright if I leave? I just need to make sure that Izzy's alright."
"Go right ahead Allison, but be sure to be back early tomorrow, okay?" Kate asked, and Allison nodded in thanks, grabbing her bag from her cubby and rushing out.
"So how did you guys meet?" Piper asks, only feeling a little guilty about James, but even though she loved him, he did a stupid thing breaking Riley's heart, and if Riley was happy with Alfie, then she didn't have it in her heart to be angry whatsoever.
"Well, Em and I were travelling in Europe for a couple months, and we met Alfie in Switzerland and we just clicked so well that we decided to do the long distance thing and well, here we are!" Riley explained, smiling as Alfie slung his arm over her shoulder.
Kate herself retreated to her office a few moments later after realising that almost everyone was focused on the new guy.
"Hey," Jordan said to Melanie, "I'm going to go check on Elly, so in case any of the weirdos who are currently fascinated with Riley's boyfriend actually wonder where I went, can you let them know?"
