The next day, all of the A Troupe girls were in one of the rehearsal rooms, helping Izzy go through the moves for the semi-finals performance.
"And then I jump into this sequence, right?" Izzy asked, and Allison nodded.
"Yeah, exactly! See, Iz, you've already got the dance down pat, I don't see what you're so worried about."
Izzy fixed Allison with a deadpan glare. "Alli, I'm about to perform at the semi finals at Nationals, and I'm performing with a team I've never performed with before."
"Uh, Izzy?" Piper asked gently. "You do realise that we're practically in the same boat right? I'm just as nervous as you are."
"That's true, but at least you've practiced this routine with everyone before." Izzy said and then turned to Allison, looking panic stricken. "Alli, I'm going to vomit."
Allison put a hand on Izzy's shoulder softly and looked into her eyes. "No you're not Iz. You are an amazing dancer and such a quick learner, and everyone you know and trust will be up there with you. I believe in you. So, we've got a couple of minutes before we should get into our costumes, so how about we go through the dance one more time, okay?"
Izzy took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah, thanks Alli. You know, you really are a great Dance Captain."
Allison looked at her sister, her eyes welling up. "Thanks Iz. That means a lot."

"Can The Next Step please take the stage?"
"Good luck guys!" Michelle and Kate yelled as A Troupe walked on stage.
Richelle, Izzy, April, Melanie, Stacey and Piper -all of the A Troupers who hadn't been on the Nationals stage yet- felt so amazed as they got into their positions. The crowd was huge and in a few seconds they were going to perform their Semi Finals routine at Nationals. It was so surreal.
Unsinkable then started playing and A Troupe started dancing with everything they had.
As Allison danced, she felt Izzy dancing next to her and had to stop herself from grinning too much. It felt amazing to have her sister on stage with her.
Izzy lost herself in the dance, putting her all into every move. This was really happening. She was dancing at Nationals with A Troupe.
As Michelle watched her sisters from the sidelines, tears streamed down her face. She was so unbelievably proud of the both of them.
As soon as A Troupe got in their end positions and the music stopped, the room burst into applause.
"And the team going onto the Finals is..."
It felt like everyone on the stage was holding their breath as they awaited the verdict.
