Life Of Dance had just performed their showstopping Finals routine, and now all of A Troupe were on stage warming up with the curtains hiding them from the audience.
"This is nerve wracking." Melanie muttered to April as they warmed up.
"Extremely." April said, laughing.
"We've got this, we've got this, we've got this." Noah kept saying to himself as he paced the stage as Richelle looked on in between her stretches that the human body shouldn't be capable of handling.
"Breathe in, breathe out." Piper was saying, instructing not only herself, but also Izzy, Stacey and Henry.
"Hey, Alli," Jordan said as he walked up to her, "can I ask you something?"
"Of course." Allison said.
"I was wondering if after all this Nationals craziness is over, you would maybe want to go out to dinner?" Jordan asked, Allison slightly gasped in surprise.
Did Jordan just ask her out? On a date?
"You don't have to answer right now though, let me know after Nationals, okay?" Jordan said, and Allison nodded, which made Jordan grin.
Allison watched Jordan walk off to a different part of the stage, and she couldn't stop the blush that heated her cheeks or the grin that was threatening to take over her face.
Suddenly, Allison was no longer nervous.
A few minutes later, Allison stepped out from one of the decorations on the stage as Rewind by Grayson Matthews started to play and the Finals routine began.
"Look at them!" Kate said backstage.
"I'm so proud of them!" Michelle said, watching the dance in awe.
"If this dance doesn't win Nationals, I'm suing." James joked, and West, Emily, Riley and Eldon all laughed.
"For real though, this routine is amazing." Emily said.
"I think it's even better than their Regionals Final routine." Riley said.
"Only wanna stop it just to hit rewind (rewind)."
The song then came to an end, and the audience gave A Troupe a standing ovation as Life Of Dance's Troupe walked back on stage.
A Troupe got up from their ending positions and got in a line as they waited for the judges to make their decision.
After what felt like forever, the judges and the hosts walked onto the stage with the Nationals trophy. This was it. They either won or lost.
"And the winner of the Absolute Dance Nationals is...", as one of the hosts paused for suspense, Jordan -who was standing on Allison's right- slipped his hand into Allison's. Allison turned to him in surprise, and then turned back to the judges while squeezing his hand, trying to hide her grin.
