"Okay everyone, gather around," Kate started, getting A Troupe's attention, "since we now have our A Troupe, it's time to start auditions for our male soloist, female soloist, small group & duets!"
'The Gang' minus Michelle, who was already here, walked into Studio A as Miss Kate said that, and Riley froze, instantly flashing back to the auditions for duets for Nationals when she was on A Troupe.
Emily, sensing that something was wrong with her sister instantly put her an arm over her sister, giving her a side hug as the boys kept walking into Studio A.
"So, I'll pin up the sign up sheet by the office, and we'll have the auditions in two days, sound good?" Kate asked, and all of A Troupe nodded, excitement running through their veins at the idea of being a featured dancer at Nationals.
"Hey Piper," Cole said, making Piper turn around to look at him, "do you want to audition for the duets with me?"
"Are you kidding me? I'd love to!" Piper said, grinning. This was perfect! If she got the duet, she'd be able to prove to everyone -but mostly James- that she was meant to be on A Troupe!
"Great!" Cole grinned back. "We should probably sign up and then maybe start working on the duet?"
"Yeah, let's go!"
"Hey Four." Melanie said, and when April didn't respond, Melanie poked her, making April jump and look at her in confusion.
"I'm four?" April asked, gesturing to herself.
"Duh. You're the fourth month of the year!" Melanie said happily.
"That's not becoming a thing." April protested.
"Oh, it's so becoming a thing. Anyway, the reason I was trying to get your attention is because I was wondering if you wanted to audition for the small group together!"
"Sure! But we'll need at least one more person...", April trailed off as she looked around before spotting the perfect person, "Richelle!"
"What's up?" Richelle asked as she walked over to the girls.
"We were wondering if you wanted to audition for the small group with us?" April asked.
"Of course! Let's sign up and then we can head to Studio B!"

Everyone in the music room could practically see the fume coming out of Izzy and Elly's ears as they found out that the other is in B Troupe as well.
As Michelle walks into to The Music Room to help them with choreo, she sees the two having a glaring contest from opposite sides of the room.
"Why does it look like you're about to dig him 10 feet under the ground?" Izzy broke her eye contact with Elly as she looked to see her sister walking towards her.
"Well I would prefer to dig her to the depths of hell but she is satan so it wouldn't matter." Izzy replied bitterly.
"Woah, okay, what happened?" Michelle asked Izzy, actually concerned with how she is acting.
