"Okay," Kate says, Michelle handing her a hat with twenty four names inside it, "I will be calling out the names because I don't trust Lucien to not somehow pull something."
Lucien scoffs. "Zat is... eh, how do you say, ah! Preposterous!"
Kate rolls her eyes, already exhausted of him. "Whatever." Kate starts, and then turns to address both troupes. "When your name gets called out, you have one hour to prepare your solo, and then you have to dance, no matter who you're up against, got it?"
Both Elite A Troupe and TNS A Troupe nod at that, albeit reluctantly. Neither troupes want to battle their own teammates.
"Okay," Kate says, and then shakes the hat a bit before picking two names out, "April and Jenna."
April's eyes widen in surprise, she wasn't expecting to start off the battle, but she knew this would be unpredictable.
"Okay girls," Michelle starts, "you both have an hour to prepare yourselves, and then we'll all meet back here, good luck."
As a lot of people disperse from the studio, Kate walks up to April.
"April, I don't want you thinking about the pressures of this battle, okay? I just want you to dance and believe in yourself, because we all believe in you, right guys?" Kate says, looking to A Troupe, who all give their assertions in response.
"Okay," April says slightly shakily, "I guess I'll head to the Music Room." She then makes her way out of the room, with Melanie following her.
"Allison, can you be with her as she prepares? I think having her Co-Captain and best friend around to help would be a good idea." Kate says, to which Allison nods.
"Of course Miss Kate, I'll go right now." Allison says before heading out the same way April and Melanie did.

"So, how do we think this is gonna go?" Izzy asks as she takes a seat in Hidalgo's ten minutes later, with Noah, Richelle, Jordan, Elly, Henry, Piper, Stacey and Jackson all taking a seat as well.
"Yeah, I've never done anything like this before." Jackson says nervously.
"Neither have we." Richelle says, sharing a look with Noah before turning back to the younger dancers, "this is practically unheard of, but that doesn't mean we can't beat them!"
"Yeah, but the odds of TNS beating Elite every round are extremely low." Stacey says, biting her lip.
"We don't have to," Jordan says, "we just have to beat them seven times!"
"You think we can?" Izzy asks Jordan hopefully, and Jordan looks at her, smiling softly.
