"Confidance!"
"Confidance!" As some people in Confidance kept quietly chanting their name for luck, Allison tried to calm her nerves as she and her team awaited the results.
Jordan, noticing that Allison was still nervous, intertwined his hand with hers and squeezed it in reassurance. Allison, surprised, looked at Jordan before smiling in thanks.
"THE NEXT STEP!"
All of A Troupe's eyes widened in shock but soon enough they were all screaming and hugging each other in happiness and relief.
They were going to the second round! This was unbelievable!
Miss Kate and Michelle were hugging each other in relief as A Troupe came backstage, smiling so wide.
"Congrats you guys!" Michelle squealed.
"Thanks!" Allison giggled, happy beyond belief. "We've still got a long way to go though!"
"Oh come on," Jordan laughed, nudging Allison, "you couldn't let us have this one moment."
"No, Allison has a point," Kate started, "round two starts in an hour. So freshen up, rest, and come back here ready to win another round."

An hour later, A Troupe was backstage again in their outfits, while Annex Dance Academy put their all into their routine.
"Still nervous?" Jordan asked Allison who was finishing up her makeup.
"Mhm," Allison confirmed as she reapplied her lipstick,"just because we won one round doesn't mean I'm going to get over confident."
"Oh come on, TNS has beaten Annex Dance Academy before!" Jordan argued, trying to relax the blonde.
"That was a completely different Troupe with a completely different choreographer." Allison replied, finishing with her lipstick as she smacked her lips together and turned to her friend. "We have to keep proving ourselves at every round, no matter what."
When Jordan didn't reply and just kept staring at her, Allison grew confused.
"What?"
"Uh, you just look really beautiful." Jordan declared.
"Oh," Allison said in surprise, stumped, "th-thanks."
"Can The Next Step please take the stage?" The announcer said, stopping either of them from saying anything else as the troupe got together to walk on stage and dance to The Trouble With Us by Marcus Marr & Chet Faker.
"Yes! Woo!" Izzy yelled from the audience as A Troupe danced. "They're doing so great! Aren't they doing so great?"
Emily, Riley, West, James & Eldon all chuckled at the J Trouper's antics.
"You might want to calm down a bit Izzy." Emily said in between laughs.
"Why should I? My sister is performing in the second round at the Absolute Dance Regionals!" Izzy exclaimed, "if they win this round that means they get into the third round, and if they win that round then that means they get into the semi-finals, and if they win that round that means-"
