Jason: Just wanted to ask you to the dance.
Me: I've been wanting to do this forever!
Jason: Really!
Me: Yeah! Let me see.*Clears voice* I don't really like you like that, that's fact. But here's here the thing we started out friends-
Jason: Why are you singing Kelly Clarkson?
Me: Shut up. Here's the thing we started friends. It was cool and I'm going to keep it that way.
Jason: ...
Me: Because I don't like you! No not really!
Teacher: Jordan, we talked about this!
Jason: You could've just said no.
Me: I wanted to sing.
Jason and Teacher: Then sing no then.
Teacher: Go.
Office:
Principal: ...
Me: Sometimes I need to sing.
Principal: I see that.
Me: The song was great.
Principal: I'm sure. As punishment I'm having you go to the dance.
Me: That's not so bad.
Principal: In a prom dress, with anyone of your choosing.
Me: WHAT!
Principal: Good luck.
