Chapter 4 : The pretty lady saved me

"Ms. Lucy, I'm sorry for putting you in danger," Wendy said as small drops of tears started to fall. Lucy frowned as she looked down at her.

"Come on stop crying, it's alright. I've almost been killed a couple of times." Lucy said tryin to cheer her up. Wendy giggled at the fact that Lucy was horrible at trying to cheer her up, but she did laugh.

They were sitting behind a parked black car on the sidewalk. When all of a sudden a red Lamborghini cane speeding towards them and it stopped right in front of the car that was chasin Wendy and Lucy. A tall blond man with a lighting scar on his left eye stepped out if the passenger's seat.

"I know him Ms. Lucy, he's one of my brother's bodyguard," Wendy said as she was about to get up and run towards the car. Lucy immediately pulled her back and held her tight against her chest.

"Wendy, don't you know it's dangerous. If you run out there right now you might be killed," Lucy said harshly to the little girl. Wendy stopped moving, realizing that Lucy was right Wendy sat still in Lucy's arms until she told her it was okay to move. Lucy looked down to the little girl and sighed, she didn't want to come out so harsh, but it was the only way she could think of to stop Wendy from getting hurt.

"Who do you bastards think you are messing with the Fairy Tail's Boss little sister," the man with the scar said as he pulled out a machine gun, "That was a big mistake." The man then starting firing straight towards the men. No mercy or hesitation was shown when he pulled the trigger. One of the men from the car jump over the black car to avoid being killed and landed in front of the two girls. He immediately pulled out a handgun that was in the back of his pants and pointed it at Wendy.

"Ahhhhh" Wendy screamed as a loud shot was heard.

"Wendy?" The tall, blond known as Laxus questioned aloud to himself.

Wendy had her eyes shut waiting for impact but it never came. She slowly peeked one eye open to see why she was not hurt. When she saw what happened she gasped aloud. Lucy's fist was hovering in front of Wendy's face.

Lucy opened her palm and a squished bullet fell out. The man laying in front of them stood in his position in shock. He did not believe what just happen. Is the girl sitting before him even human at all? Is she truly a monster?

"The man quickly hustled for the hand gun that was dropped to the floor when he saw Lucy catch his bullet.

Just when he was about to pull the trigger a lout shot was heard, and the man laid completely flat in the ground with a pool of blood starting to form around his head. Lucy knew it was that blond hair man that was on Wendy's side. Knowing that she was related to Natsu based on what she heard, Lucy decided to ditch Wendy knowing that she was going to be in safe hands.

"Listen here Wendy, promise me that you won't mention my name when that man comes," Lucy said as she turned Wendy around to face her.

"But why you saved my life Ms. Lucy," Wendy said as she started to cry again and buried her face in Lucy's breasts while hugging her tight. A huge blush cake across Lucy's face.

"Pinky promise me?" Lucy asked as she pushed Wendy slightly away from her and held up her pinkie finger. Wendy giggled as she held up her pinkie finger.

"That's for little kids Ms. Lucy, but whatever your reason is. I promise," Wendy said as she finalized the pinkie promise by touching thumbs.

"Wendy? Is that you?" Laxus said as he started walking towards towards the black car that the girls were hiding behind.

"Bye little Wendy," Lucy said as she slowly started to crawl away from the car , "and don't call me Ms. Lucy it makes me sound old," Lucy finished as she quickly got up and started running back to towards the alleyway.

"What the hell?" Laxus said as he reached for his handgun when he saw Lucy running away. He must have thought that she was another enemy that was after Wendy's life.

"No Laxus," Wendy screamed as she jumped onto Laxus and wrapped her arms around his torso causing him to fall and the gun to fall out of his hand.

"What the hell Wendy?" Laxus questioned Wendy as he got up.

"Please don't hurt the pretty lady," Wendy screamed and started to throw small punches at Laxus.

"Okay, okay now would you stop hitting me," Laxus said as he grabbed Wendy's head picked her up and then placed her standing away from him. Just as Wendy regained her balance, a red motorcycle with flames decorating the wheels rode up to the scene with two black lamborghini driving not more than two meters behind it. The person riding the motorcycle stopped in front of Laxus, taking of their helmet to reveal salmon-pink hair. He placed the helmet on the seat as he steeped off the bike.

"Onii-chan!" Wendy yelled as she started running towards her older brother. She went up to him and squeezed him into a hug. Natsu looked down at her and grabbed her face to examine it.

A loud engine was heard from the alleyway causing everyone to raise their heads to the sound. A black motorcycle sped pass the group with a driver waving their hand goodbye. Natsu quickly jumped back onto his bike and put the helmet back on his head. He started the engine and started driving behind the black motorcycle.

"Sweet, someone left a box of wings," Leo exclaimed walking back towards Wendy and Laxus.

"That's fucking disgusting bro," Gray said with a disgusted tone of voice, "why would you eat chicken left on the fucking street?" Gray finished as he put his hand into the bucket to take a piece of chicken for himself. He barely got a piece out when Leo snapped the bucket away from him, not wanting to share the food with anyone.

"You lousy hypocrite," Leo muttered as he also reached into the bucket for a piece of chicken. Both boys took a bite their chicken at the same time. Their faces started to grow red and steam started coming out of their nose and ears. They immediately spit the food out and Leo threw the bucket onto the floor causing the chicken to spill onto the sidewalk.

"What the hell?" Gray said as he started rubbing his mouth with his hand, "who eats this lava crap"

"Only person I know that can handle this shit is Boss," Leo said as he also rubbed his mouth.

"Disgusting bastards," Laxus muttered to himself as he let out a light chuckle.

'Ohhh, was that Ms. Lucy's chicken?' Wendy thought to herself as she rubbed her chin.
