Chapter 30: Unexpected

"You think that you could mess with my family and get away with it," Natsu said as he slowly started to walk towards José with a murderous glare in his eyes, "Do you really believe that you would live another day when you decided to lay a hand on someone who is close to me." Natsu roughly grabbed him by the collar and used almost all of his strength to smash him into the wall. José practically flew across the room and smacked his entire body into the wall. He slowly fell down, reveling a body shaped imprint left on the wall.

Natsu looked over and his eyes only narrowed in arger, he was a little upset that he wasn't able to push him through the wall. But that just meant that he had to be conscious to receive the pain that he had in store for him.

José laid on the floor, unable to move even a single finger. His eyes were twitching and blood was coming out of both his ears and mouth. Natsu looked down at the sorry excuse for a man and only let out a sigh, he was suffocating on his own blood. Natsu figures that he had probably received an internal blow from the throw that he used.

Natsu bent down and grabbed roughly grabbed him by the collar with both of his hands. Natsu's eyes slightly went red as he stared into José's eyes, one could tell that his hatred for him was extremely powerful.

Just as Natsu was about to accumulate his final blow, José uttered something with the little breath he had left in him.

"A-aria.." José utters as his eyes slowly rolled back and his limbs became lifeless.

'What the hell?' Natsu thought to himself as he let go of the dead body, causing a loud thud as it hit the floor.

As soon as José's body hit the floor and Natsu had made clear that he was put in an eternal sleep, all the lights suddenly went off and sounds of a rather large and tall man's footsteps were soon the only thing to be heard in the room.

"It's rather unfortunate that you have crossed my path mister. You could have lived a long and happy life. Life could be so cruel," A tall man said as he stepped into the room and suddenly the only light that was shining into the room was placed on him. The man that appeared before Natsu had a rather interesting, yet weird appearance. He wore a huge green cloak that ends just above his knee and black slacks underneath. The most interesting part of him was not his clothes, but the wrap he wore around his eyes that prevented him from seeing anything.

"Who the hell are you?" Natsu questioned the man as he straightened his posture to silently tell the mysterious man that he was not afraid and that he was ready for a fight.

"I am Aria. I am sorry to say this," Aria said as he took the cloak off of his shoulders and slowly placed it on José's desk, "I am the one that shall end your timeline."

"Are you related to the patient? Because I am only allowed to assist immediate family members at this moment," The nurse told Lucy as she flips through her notepad. Lucy thought for a moment before answering her.

"Yes. I'm her sister," Lucy said confidently. Even though she needed to lie, she did it for the sake of Wendy. Lucy was all the girl had right now.

"You're related to Ms. Wendy Dragneel of the famous and might I say very well-known Dragneel family?" The nurse questioned as she started to bite her pen, it was clear that she was keeping herself from laughing as she did not believe Lucy at all.

"I'm engaged to her brother so I might as well be family. So tell me where the hell she is!" Lucy screamed as she banged her hand on the counter causing almost all actions in the ward to halt and turn their attention to her.

"R-right away ma'am," the nurse quickly said as she got up and started to lead the way to Wendy's room. It was clear that the blonde could be very imitating and she managed to get to her. Lucy thanked her ancestors that she had a very scary presence when she needed it. She was glad that her grandmother taught her that trick before she left.

"That's more like it," Lucy mutters to herself as she followed the nurse with her head and shoulders back and a confident smile placed upon her face.

"Where do you think Boss and Lucy is at right now. They missed last period," Gray said as he threw his backpack across his shoulder.

"I don't know yet. We have to get to the base to track his whereabouts. You're the idiot that let him go with that woman by himself!" Erza shouted as she hit Gray in the back of the head with her hand. Suddenly, a blue-headed girl popped up behind Gray, scaring the duo.

"Woman? What woman Gray-sama?" Juvia asked as she jumped up and tangled her arm with Gray's.

"Lucy. We have to get to he base to help him," Gray said as he slightly blushed with Juvia's sudden contact with him.

"Oh..Lucy," Juvia said as she slowly let go of Gray's arm, but she still keeps up the pace with him.

"Is something the matter Juvia?" Erza asked as she turned the key in her car door to open it.

"No, it's just that I'm suddenly feeling a bit ill. Could you just drop me home?" Juvia asked as Gray hopped in the front seat of Erza's car.

"Well, if you are feeling ill, it would be dangerous for you to be by yourself. Just come by the base and have Mira take a look at you..okay?" Erza said as she tapped Juvia's back a little too strong causing the blue-headed girl to fall face front into the back seat of the car.

"Fine," Juvia said with a pout as she folded her forearms together and started to look out of the window.

"Ok," Erza said as she jumped into the driver's seat, closed the door and started the ignition, "Off we go."

'I don't really think I could keep this up any longer. I have to meet up with Lucy and let her know I'm done," Juvia thought to herself, she then faced the front and looked at her two comrades that were laughing and talking carelessly talking with each other, "I don't think I would ever have the heat to come clean to them."
