"F/n." Oikawa whispered softly.

"Oikawa" You said, trying to stir the male that was laying on his back staring up at the ceiling. After a few more times of prodding him, he finally sat up, however he didn't make eye contact with you.

"You've seen every part of me. The worst, the best, the in between. My mask I've worn for most of my life, sits on the shelf when I'm with you. For such a long time, your feeling of love for me remained, even when you were in a different country. I was by your bedside with my only thoughts being about you. When you were by mine, all you had on your mind was filling the gap in your heart where I used to be. You were afraid, so you turned your feelings to Iwaizumi. Why? Why couldn't you have done the same that I had done for you? I know you, you're afraid of being vulnerable, of getting hurt. If anything you're the one with the perfect face. You've been trying to keep it together, the new feelings, the fear, everything, but it's been falling through the cracks. You've been wearing your perfect face for so long it's begun to crack from wear and tear. You're destroying yourself trying to be this person, but with me you've never needed to wear it. And that's why you hate that feeling, the one where we've both seen every side of the other. The good and the bad. So the real question is, why are you running from someone who you really do love? You're afraid to admit it again. We both know you're still in love with me. You love everything about me, the flaws, every single thing, sure some things frustrate you, but at the end of the day, you love me for exactly who I am. And I love you for who you genuinely are." Oikawa said, his eyes staring blank off into the distance.

Throughout his whole entire speech, he hadn't once looked you in the eyes. He could see you were developing feelings for Iwaizumi. Who wouldn't in all honesty? He treated you like the world, something you craved. Oikawa fell short in that department, however you didn't expect that out of him. This whole time he had seen the way you'd been looking at his best friend. And it was a sickening feeling, knowing that you had realized who the better male was at the end of the day.

"You have to take off your mask more often, it's not a good look on you. You're at your best when you can express any emotion you're currently feeling at the moment. When you don't hide the imperfect parts of you, because those are the parts I love most. I know I sound desperate right now, telling you how much I love you, but I feel that I've never told you enough, and you need to know. All I want for you is the very best, and that's to be loved for every aspect of your being. And if you think Iwa can provide you with that, then go after him. I'm not going to try and hold you back. But before you make your decision, I just want you to know that if you love someone, you don't just stop loving them, you just love them less than you did before. And I hope some part of you still realizes that I need you, and you need me, because who else would understand what it's like to try and match society's standards of being perfect." Oikawa finished the last part of his comment. However, he still hadn't made eye contact with you.

You were begging him silently to return your gaze. And, that's when he finally turned. You locked eyes with him, and all you could feel in that moment of time was peace. His chocolate eyes were hypnotizing to stare into, the more you stayed staring into his orbs, the more you wanted to be in his arms. It was strange how within minutes, even seconds, feelings could change. It was always like shifting sand, and you had long ago realized basing your decisions off your feelings was like building a house on the sand instead of on the rocks.

That's when you leaned in, before you knew it, your lips were against his, and god it was addicting. You didn't want to stop. Slowly, he turned you onto your back before he moved on top of you, careful to bear his weight on his frame, not yours. "I missed this. " He said softly, "God I missed this so much." You paused, looking up at him, before placing your hands on either side of his face. Your thumb ran over the soft skin of his cheek, before you let out a sigh. " I missed you so much, I didn't realize how much of this I've kept bottled up. "You said softly, before he let out a sigh.

"I told you you still loved me. "He said with a chuckle before interlacing your fingers.

"(f/n)! Breakfast is ready!" Oikawa said, wobbling into the room as you sat up. That's when the crushing feeling set in, the make up, everything that had happened was all a dream.
