"It's been four weeks that he's been in a coma. I don't know if he'll be waking up, but when he does, he'll find out he no longer has his girl anymore. " The deep voice mumbled in your ear. It sounded familiar, so familiar you could almost put a face to the voice. His arms wrapped around your waist, burying his face in your neck, before you felt a nibble. It felt strange, it almost felt good, besides the heavy feeling in your stomach you had for Oikawa. He moved away from your neck before you felt your head spin. You blinked, you were standing in the hospital room, Oikawa's hospital room to be exact. He was laying in the same posiiton he had been for the past few weeks, motionless.

"Sh, don't worry love." You felt your body spin, and you came face to face with the owner of the voice. It was Iwa. You grew steadily confused, before he interlocked your fingers with his. "Look, you haven't liked Oikawa the whole time, it's been me. I've been the one you wanted the whole time."Iwaziumi placed his lips on your neck, before moving his way up. His lips were soft and he nibbled lightly on the underside of your jaw. You wanted to pull away, but you couldn't, you felt conflicted. You didn't understand why. Your eyes drifted to the side, seeing Oikawa in his coma, which absolutely unnerved you.

What was even happening? Iwaizumi fixed your face so you were staring at him. He then leaned in again, catching your lips in a long, savoring kiss. You didn't want to pull away, which terrified you. You actually kissed back, which shocked you. You couldn't help yourself, but kissing him felt like a drug, you didn't want to stop. And for some strange reason, it made you feel complete. "(f/n)?" You heard Oikawa's voice croak, your eyes turned to him, as you felt some pity, but then you felt nothing at all.

You woke up, your mind reeling with all that you had dreamt. You lifted your head, before blinking repeatedly. Once your eyes focused, you realized you had been laying on Iwaizumi's stomach in the hospital room. Your gaze drifted upwards, to which you studied his sleeping figure, his head resting gently on hand as he slept. He looked incredibly attract-

You had to stop yourself, this needed to stop. You were desperate to feel loved and for affection, that's all, you didn't have any real feelings for Iwa. He was your best friend after all, almost like a brother, right?

Everything felt so conflicting and you had no clue why. Oikawa waited patiently for you when you were in that bed, so why couldn't you wait for him? Were you bracing yourself in case he didn't wake up? Were you trying to emotionally invest yourself in someone else so it would sting less?

You've never felt so confused. When you closed your eyes, Iwaizumi was there to haunt you, with his cheesy smile you had grown to love over the time you had known him. But when you saw Oikawa, your mind drifted to all the things you had done.

Playing in the park, forehead kisses, snuggling, taking naps together, all the cutesy stuff. You'd blink and for a split second you'd see a male with darker hair doing those things with you. You groaned, before Iwa stirred, looking down at you with an apathetic smile. "What's wrong? Do you feel okay, are you comfortable?" He asked, his eyes shining with concern. You shook your head, at a loss of words. He made you feel loved. And right now you felt so unloved, you just wanted to be held again. Your heart had ached from reviving itself, going from no emotions to emotions. And the concussion and other hurting body parts weren't helping either.

"You sure? You look really confused." Iwaizumi said, rubbing your back softly as he checked your temperature. "You're burning up, I think you have a fever." He commented worriedly, before checking a second time. "I'll be fine." You replied softly, looking up at him as his frown deepened. "These past few weeks I've seen you deal with so many medical issues I'm afraid to believe you're okay, I should've forced Oikawa to not take you out to the town, it was too soon, then none of this would have happened." He said, as you could see tears well up in his eyes. He loved both of you, and it literally killed him to see how much you were in pain, and Oikawa's motionless body.

"Hey, hey it's not your fault Hajime." You said reassuringly, sitting up so you could wipe the tears away from his eyes. He locked his jaw, letting his gaze fall to his hands positioned on his lap. "It is though." He said, his voice beginning to break. "It was my fault when my cousin died and now if Oikawa doesn't wake up..." His voice cut out, he couldn't finish the rest of his sentence. You felt your heart throb, before you intertwined one of your hands, using the other to gently wipe his tears away with the side of your thumb.

"Shhh, stop talking, it truly isn't your fault okay?" You spoke softly and sincerely. Iwa nodded his head before burying it in your neck. These past few months had been an emotional rollercoaster for you. You sighed, your dream haunting you in the back of your mind.

You heard a cough, before you turned around, seeing Oikawa's chocolate orbs look towards you. They were open, he was awake.

"Tooru!" You said with a smile, before you fell to his bedside, taking Iwa with you. Iwaizumi wrapped his arms around his best friend, before saying, "I thought I lost you."

"Morning sleepy head." You said softly, however the lingering feeling for Iwaizumi stuck, which worried you immensely.
