Even with a mask covering my face, I was pretty recognized in Japan. Strangely, so was Jack.
I wondered why at first, until I learned he knew Japanese well enough to have been a voice actor in Japan for awhile. I knew Japanese's pretty well myself. Another hobby I picked up was learning languages so I could Fair better on tours.
Either way, I was still surprised we were recognized so easily. Maybe because we're American and stuck out like a sore thumb???
That's probably it.
When we got to our hotel and checked in, I collapsed in the bed, laying face down.
"I'm already exhausted!" I groaned.
"Obviously," Jack snorted, "jet lag literally is kicking us in the stomach."
I laughed, "it is. Let's get some sleep."
We did, and the next day, we woke up pretty early. Jack and I shared a bath, since baths in Japan's were so fucking amazing. The water was fucking boiling, I loved it.
And well...
"Jack, I love you, but I will pass out if we have sex in this bath."
"Understood!" He jokingly set me on the edge of the bath, my legs being the only thing in the water.
"That's not what I...." I sighed, rolling my eyes at him before kissing him, going along with him.
He started kissing up my thigh, a very present smirk on his lips. I gripped his wet hair, shivering at his warm lips on my cold skin.
His warm lips moved towards my growing erection, nipping playfully at the skin around it. My eyes were squeezed shut, unable to look at Jack without getting even more turned on.
I bit my finger to suppress my moans, my teeth hitting my ring. My eyes fluttered open, seeing the beautiful good band.
Damn it.
Why does a simple ring make me so happy?
I looked down at Jack, who was smiling at me.
"You're mine," he said warmly, moving up to kiss me, making me loose track of what was going on.
I let out a gasp when I felt his hand on my erection, his fingers teasing the base. He took the opportunity to slide his tongue in my mouth.
"J-jack-"
"I surprisingly feel refreshed," I hummed as we left the building.
"That so? Same here." I rolled my eyes as we took to the streets of Tokyo, our first stop on our mini tour of Japan. We definitely stood out.
I'll say it again. And it was clear our relationship. Not only from our closeness, but even when we talked in Japanese, we used informal Japanese and not keigo, which is used to address those superior to you (age, class, status, etc.) and since Jack's older than me, that would make sense.
We got quite a few looks for that.
Other reasons too.
We browsed the city and shops in the area, eating at a cat cafe for lunch.
"Ah, this looks like Heather's cat Twilight!" I gushed, petting a large black cat with bright blue eyes. She was a beauty for sure!
"You ever think of getting a pet?" Jack hummed, his body covered in cats. He pet them each as he drank some of his hot tea.
I shrugged, "someday."
"Your friend sure is loved by our cats here." A Japanese women commented, very young and looking to be the owner of the cafe.
"He's always been an animal lover. I think animals just sense it. I wish I could bring some of these guys home, but the flight is not worth it. I don't want these cute babies to be locked up on a plane for so long."
The lady laughed, "well, you're very passionate. It's not very often that i see such handsome men at my cafe! You've attracted quite a few onlookers." With her words, I glanced sideways, seeing girls of all ages staring at the two of us.
"Oh, I never notice these sort of things." I laughed.
"You're so adorable they can't stop staring," Jack teased.
The lady smiled, not understanding our English, "either of you married? You seem like such fine young men."
"Well," I smirked, lifting up my left hand, "I'm engaged."
"What about you?"
"Who do you think have him the ring?"
Some of the girls seemed overly happy at this, while others were a bit disappointed.
The shop owner just gave us a shocked look, "really?"
"We're childhood friends, but it wasn't until about two years ago that we actually got around to dating. With the craziness of our life, marriage is probably the most normal thing we can do," Jack explained.
"Oh, what do you do?" She asked us.
"Oh, I'm an actor and singer, some of the locals recognized me," I began, "and I've been in the news a lot as of late. Lots of things have happened."
Jack nodded, "and I'm a English and Japanese voice actor for video games, anime, tv shows and movies."
"Really? Why, that's impressive. You have no work right now?"
"Ah, I finished a job last month," jack explained.
I smiled, "We're on break for what we're shooting. I have two months to relax." She nodded.
A small cat came up to me, black spots all over its brown fur. It was a girl I believe, and she rushed against my hip. I pet her head, and it was soft beyond belief. Did no one ever pet her?
She purred loudly and leaned into my touch, "oh, that's a shock. Kakko doesn't like people much."
So much so you named her brat?
"He attracts a lot of lost souls his way." Jack hummed as Kakko jumped in my lap, looking up at me with big eyes.
I wish I could take this little cat home.
"She's grown quite attached to you," jack commented.
"I really want to adopt this cute cat, but it's literally impossible!" I groaned.
"You're hopeless." Jack snorted, and then started talking to the owner about something. I just played with Kakko for a bit. She was really attached to me.
Before I knew it, it was time to continue our journey. Kakko didn't want to see me go, but we sadly parted.
I pouted as we left, "Kakko was such a cute cat. I'm gonna miss her."
"Well' i'm sure she'll find a loving home." Jack assured warmly.
"I hope so."
"You really," Jack trailed, "have a soft spot for animals, don't you?"
"Well, I had a emotional support dog for a few years. He passed away a little before I met you. Heather just thought he was a dog."
"I had no-"
"Don't. Things are better now. I'm stronger than before, and that dog, who I horribly named Jack, was there to help. But now," I grabbed his hand, "I have you."
"I wonder if you ever realize we're in public?"
I shrugged, "I'm pretty openly gay."
Jack snorted out a laugh, "you are. And i love you."
"I love you too."
