"This place looks bigger than I remember." Heather said softly.
I nodded. All four of us were dressed up for the event. Everyone except heather sporting suits of sorts. Of sorts.
We entered the building where they were already checking people in. We all got our name tags and entered the school, walking along the halls we once knew.
The endless rows of lockers seemed so small now.
Heather and Ian split away from us in order to explore her old classes, while Jack and I went to the gymnasium, where they were holding the event.
We were early, having a couple hours until the actual event took place, we just wanted to explore some.
We were surprised to see people there already, relaxing, talking, all that. Now, I've been told I'm adorable, sexy, attractive, all that, even though I don't believe any of it, but Jack...
Jack was stunning. There was a reason his voice could drop anyone's panties.
So when we walked in, eyes were drawn towards us, naturally.
I felt so small all the sudden, but Jack smiled playfully at me and that helped ease my mind a bit.
"Should we look at the old yearbook?"
"That sounds pretty fun," I laughed, the two of us going to check the yearbooks.
We were browsing them for a bit when someone recognized me.
Surprisingly not Jack.
"So you rear your faggot ass back here again?" The voice hissed. I paused, then turned on my heels, smiling at the one and only Blake Stanley, the old quarterback on the football team.
I shrugged, "I though I'd take a break from my busy life and pop by. This place sure holds a lot of memories."
"No one wants you here. Go back to wherever you came from." he hissed.
A girls voice groaned, "grow up, will you? It's been ten years, stop being an asshole."
Blake glared at me, then his eyes flickered to Jack, seeing who he was. His eyes widened, "Wait, you started all the fuss around him? Why are you next to him?"
"I grew up and grew a pair. Sorry you're still dealing with that."
I had to hold back my laughter, "ah, Jack, that reminds me, you said you had something to tell me?" I hummed.
He smiled, "I'll tell you later." He pecked my lips to Blake's dismay.
"Y-you two are... how the f-"
"You aren't really keeping up with the news, are you?" Heather's voice sounded as she slipped in, Ian close behind. "Ethan, look what I found!"
"Please don't tell me y- nope, that's exactly what you did."
Heather held up a school picture with Jack and I on it, from when we were in the school play.
"That's such and old photo! Look how tiny you were!" Jack teased.
"You hurt me so." I joked, smiling.
Jack took the picture from Heather, smiling at the memory. "You still remember the songs?" He asked fondly.
"You kidding? Of course I do!"
Some girl saw what was going to happen and rushed to the stage, getting to the mics that were recently set up.
"Okay everyone, even the new crowd!" She exclaimed as pretty much everyone else arrived, some recognized who jack and I were, "looks like two of our resident celebrities are going to react senior year's musical! Or at least a song from it!" With that, she grabbed to microphones and jumped off stage and ran to us, shoving the microphones in our hands.
