We step off the LAAT slightly overwhelmed by the busyness of the ship. A commanding officer comes over to us and welcomes us saying that general Pari wants to meet us in the control room. But first we wanted to unpack our things so we asked where the barracks were and to my surprise the officer smiled and said " your squad has their own living quarters." Mur gave the officer a confused stare and said "but we're just troopers." As the officer started walking towards a door we followed, "well you're lucky, some generals let their troopers have their own quarters."
"Allright lets get you to your rooms and then the control room. "Me and Mur both nodded. After a while we got to our rooms and the officer showed me where mine is, "Allright im going to show your friend where his room is, when im back you better be ready i wownt wait. "I noded and said "understood". The two walked off down a hallway and through a door.
I looked at my door and to my surprise my name was on it and so was another name  "Nala".
Thoughts:
hmm seems as i've got a roommate, but isnt that a female name? Doesnt matter, first i need to unpack my things then i'll worry about people.

I unpacked my things and as soon as i did i heard a hard knock on the door, it was the officer "Phew. Just in time." I put my helmet on and open the door. I looked at Mur as he held his helmet between his arm and his ribs, he looked comfortable...  Even though the group of solidiers did accept me I wasnt sure if the others would, which made me even more uncomfortable. The officer gave me a pleased look and said "c'mon lets not make the general wait, the control room is just up ahead." As we walked down the hallway i could feel something through the door, something comforting and smooth but unforgiving at the same time it weirded me out so i just thought i might be a little ill but being ill doesnt comfort you for sure. The door slid open as we came near i saw two jedi one looked around my age and the other seemed to be in her thirties.
Thoughts:
That must be general Pari and her padawan i should act formal just like the others.
The general and her padawan smiled as we walked in. I dont know why but i suddenly felt the urge to take my helmet off and smile back as i felt rude. We stopped in front of them and the officer saluted the general and walked back through the door. I looked to my left to see Mur stand stiff as a tree, i couldnt help but giggle a little. I put my hands to my sides and stood straight just like Mur. The general looked at us and said what are your numbers? "CT-6592 but my friends call me Mur!" Mur shouted out proudly and loudly. General Pari looked Mur in the eyes and said "Then i shall call you by your name" and nodded calmly just like all the jedi do despite all these problems. She looked over to me and asked "what about you trooper?" I stuttered a little and said"G..General i do not have a number." The general looked at me with a confused face "as far as i'm concerned all troopers have numbers, take off your helmet." I shaked a little and said "yes general" I took my helmet off hesitantly as always and  revealed my face, "My name is Mak" the generals padawan looked at me with a interrogative look, "How do you join the clone army if you're not a clone?"
I looked at the padawan and said nervously "you can volunteer but you have to be skilled in combat and both physically and mentally fit enough for war." The padawan looked at me once again and said curiously "how do we know that we can trust you?" Mur looked at the general and said  "permission to speak general" "permission granted" she said,  "general, I've known Mak for a long time and we've helped each other many times, we are like brothers... He would never betray a brother." The general looked at both of us with a pleased look and said "Very well then, you may go back to your quarters and get some rest, we have a mission ahead of us." We both saluted the general and her padawan as we left. The door slid shut behind as I grabbed my helmet placing it between my arm and ribs just like  Mur and said "hey, thanks Mur i appreciate it." Mur smiled and looked at me stopping next to my room and said "no problem, after all we are brothers." He nodded and walked down the hallway as i walked towards my room's door.
