Mak's pov:
"Today you are going to be working alongside Ashoka Tano on the planet of Felucia. You will be leading one fifth of your battalion against the sparatist outpost." Plo Koon informs me as he gestures towards Ashoka. I've heard many things about her, apparently she's fierce and wise. It would be good to maybe learn a thing or two.

I nod at the young commander as she smirks "Maybe I can teach you some things captain."

"I hope so commander." I anwser smiling.

Ashoka looks at me suddenly igniting with curiosity as she tilts her head a little looking at my armor markings that by now varied from a tear drop under the right side of my visor (I KNOW!!! I know i know Tup had that but.....IT JUST LOOKS SO... NICE!) To three painted claw marks on my left shoulder.

Suddenly General Koon jumps in as he realises that Ashoka is about to go off track. "We will drop your the you two along with the other hundred clones behind a valley to provide cover for the transport. From there you will have to choose whether you will move in through the valley or climb it."

"Understood general." I say as Plo Koon looks at Ashoka.

"Make your master proud Ashoka."
The general says to which she laughs walking off as she signals for me to follow. "I always do master Koon! Come on captain."

I follow the padawan out of the room as i ask "So you work with the 501st?"

"Yeah, i do, they are kind of like my family. Especially Rex and Anakin."
Ashoka says turning her face towards me. I wonder, how old is she? She looks young, very young... and that makes me worried. How is a teen going to help us besiege an outpost?
Although... I shouldn't be saying anything, im only twenty years old.

"Well dont be worried about your leadership skills if we take high losses. Afterall these solidiers arent hand picked like the 501st. But they can put up a fight!" I warn Ashoka as she crosses her arms and stops.

"You've got to believe in your men captain! Anyone can do anything!" She teaches me.

Maybe I should... well she's allready taught me something! "I guess I will from now on."

We start walking towards the hangar where we will enter our transports as she asks with a curious spark about her eyes. "So how come you have cyan coloured armor? Isnt this the core afterall?"

"Well erm... I was in the stormcaller squad before i joined the core infantry and i have only arrived here today in the morning." I say taking my helmet off.

She looks at me confused once more "You're not a.... clone?"

I sigh lightly under my breath at the question that everybody asks "No im not a clone, im a volunteer." I say as we enter the hangar.

"Why did you volunteer?" She asks to which i reply "I used to be a son stuck in a separatists family until i did something that had them sending bounty hunters after me. I hid for my whole childhood sometimes when i had nowhere to hide i had to use weapons... and then i decided that i would be safer within the republic army."

"Well that was a good choice...lets get onto the gunship and take that outpost... oh yeah i almost forgot! So whats your name captain?" She asks tilting her head slightly.

"My name is Mak, technically i dont have a second name because im not a part of a family." I say as solidiers and engineers rush around us.

"Nice to meet you Mak! And dont worry your family is within this army just like it is for me!" She welcomes me to her clone family with a smile.

"Thank you. Means a lot."

Ok! So dont get triggered at my terrible writing skills ok! Im just not very good at writing as characters that i have not created...
