Somewhat a Father

Mak's pov:
As we exit hyperspace and arrive on Coruscant a puzzling feeling spikes through my body, I feel like something is watching our every move, hiding in the shadows...

"I hope I'll see you later boy!" Brig says smiling widely.

"I hope so too Brig." I reply to which he groans "Arrgh come here!" He says opening his arms hugging me.

"O-okay thats eno-ugh Brig... I cant br-eathe!" I squeeze out of my mouth as Brig lets go.

"Allright you get going now! You dont want to be late!" Brig says sounding somewhat like a father, I suppose he has been acting like mine and Mur's father or... guardian over the last six months.

The platform of our ship lowers as I walk down it. "Bye Brig!" I say hearing the ship fly away behind me.

Suddenly an officer approaches me "Captain Mak?" He asks unsure.

"Yes, thats me." I say formally as I take my helmet off placing it between my arm and ribs.

"I have been ordered to show you your room." The officer informs me as he signals for me to follow.

                     *Short Skip*

After a short walk we reach my new room as the officer informs me about my next mission "This is the room. Dont get comfortable, tommorow you are being deployed on the planet of Felucia."

Confused I ask "Isnt general Pari stationed there currently?"

"The officer looks back at me while he opens my door "General Pari was stationed there until she stranded her troops on the planet and left the system with her cruiser mysteriously."

Worried, my eyes widen "You've lost track of a whole cruiser?"

"We've lost all contact, any way of communicating with the cruiser has failed. For all we know they could be imprisoned or dead." The officer states as he leaves.

I guess I'll go and get some rest, tommorow is going to be very busy.
I head into my room quickly unpacking my belongings and jumping under the cold covers of my bed.

Brig's pov:
"Argh! Damn this ship!" I yell out as the ships engines cut off exiting hyperspace.

I play with the controls to try and get the ship to start again and suddenly I hear a loud crank behind me in one of the rooms.

I get up grabbing my blaster and take a large swig from my bottle.

"Come out you scurvy dog!" I yell out angrily.

I slowly walk over to the first room cautiously, i look inside as another crank comes from the room to my left as something hard hits me on the head and everything goes dark.
