The Outpost

Nala's pov:
"Taken by the dark side, your master is hmmm?" The wise grand master yoda states.

"Thats what it seems like... But! I dont know why, she has been acting odd."
I point out moving closer to the master deperate for help.

Master yoda walks over to a window in his room looking out of it searching his mind. "Strange, this is, tell the council i shall, hear from the I will."

"Master I dont mean to be rude,but please hurry she's dangerous!" I say as master yoda faces me once more.

"Hurry we will, urgent this is." He says slowly walking towards the door as I exit with him.

                    *Short Skip*

As I exit the jedi temple I hear screams and gasps as a large shadow passes by.

I look up to see a cruiser slowly heading straight for the council room.
That must be her! I need to help the council!

I turn back around running as fast as i can pushing past anyone in my way.

Mak's pov:
As the gunship closes in on our destination I pull out one of my westar 35 pistols catching Ashokas attention

"Dont Mandalorians use these blaster pistols?" She asks looking up at me as I put my helmet on.

"My 'family' is from mandalore so i thought it would be nice to get a pair of these." I state as I feel the gunship land.

The doors slide open and I pull out my second blaster pistol as i rush towards the valley with the others right behind me.

I reach the side of the rocky valley as i look towards Ashoka and ask "I suggest we position ten of our best marksmen on that valley to provide covering fire as we push."

Ashoka meets my eyes as she takes a breath "Sounds like a plan, I will lead the push."

I turn to my second in command as I shout "You heard her del! I want you and nine of your best marksmen up there asap!"

"Copy that!" Del obeys as he picks out nine clones and starts climbing the valley.

We wait nervously for the marksmen to get in position as I hear Del through the comlink "We're in position captain."

"Allright! Move move!" I command as Ashoka leads the attack with me right behind her.

As we exit the valley we are met with heavy resistance from the clankers but we carry on pushing for the outposts walls.

I hear the screams of clones behind me as they are blasted by the droids.
My heart runs faster and faster as I can feel the hot blaster bolts get closer and closer to me.

I look up at the wall as I see a red blaster bolt approach me quickly, I quickly move my head to the left dodging the bolt.

We reach the wall turning our backs to it as Ashoka orders. "Allright lets get climbing we dont want to loose the momentum.

I nod lifting my arm up activating the comlink "Del! Help us out!"

"We've been doing so this whole time captain!" Del anwsers through the comlink.

All the clones around me start shooting their grappling hooks up at the walls as I suddenly feel something throw me up on the wall as I let out a frightened yell "Aaaagghh! Dont do that again commander!"

As I land on the wall I blast all the droids around me switching from one to another as Ashoka jumps up landing beside me and slicing up a group of droids.

Slowly some of our troops began to get up on the wall and fire down at the droids in the outpost as Ashoka charged down cutting through the giant group of droids.

The droids didnt put up much of a fight until the commando droids began climbing the wall and getting close up and personal.

After a short while of fighting we won and Ashoka approached me confused
"This doesn't seem right, why would they not have a leader here and why was there so little?"

I shrug not knowing the anwser as a yell comes from the wall "Open the gate! Its the marksmen!"

The gate opens as I see Del and another clone helping an injured solidier walk towards the gate.

We rush towards them as some clones  grab the injured clone. "What happened there Del?" I ask shocked.

"I dont know what it was, there was a group of them and they managed to kill seven of ours until we fended them off." He says a little shook.

"Was it the separatists?" Ashoka asks.

"I-No it couldnt've been they were wild and vicious." Del states stuttering a little.

"Allright thats all we need to know, now go and get yourself patched up bud." I say patting him on the back.

Suddenly I hear Ashoka's comlink activate grabbing both her and my attention. "Ashoka! I am going back to Coruscant I'll be back as soon as possible! I'll explain later!"

"What so he's just leaving us here?" Ashoka shouts angered.

"We should set up some kind of cover for the injured from the weather, maybe a tent or... something?" I say worried for our troops.

Why would General Koon leave us like this? What are we supposed to do?

I stumbled over to the small buildings far back next to the giant wall "Maybe this would be a good place?"

"We should have some troops watching out for danger on the walls, we never know the separatists might come back to take this outpost from us." Ashoka states as she walks over to some clones oredring them to go keep watch.
