Two: Talking Impulse

Yoda led the two into his private quarters and sat in a fluffy red cushion there. He gestured for them to do the same. Ahsoka fumbled with her clothes and looked uncomfortably at her master.

 "Now," said Master Yoda. Anakin sat on his knees and looked at the floor. 

 "Discuss this, we must. Inappropriate, it was. Disapprove, I do." 

 Yoda turned to Ahsoka with sadness in his eyes. "Nothing good from this path will you get. Heartbreak, it will bring. Turn away, you must."

 Yoda looked at Anakin. "Selfish, your actions were. Terribly, you showed restraint. Teach what to this Padawan did you intend to?"

 Anakin frowned. "I'm sorry, Master Yoda."

 "Good enough that is not." 

 Yoda turned away. "Ahsoka, spend the day doing workouts with Commander Cody will you. After dark you must not be out. 

"Anakin, time with your master you must spend. Tell him you will what wrong you did. Act like fool next time you will not."

 Yoda stumbled into his kitchen and waved them away. "Dismissed you are."

Ahsoka reported to Commander Cody immediately. The clone snorted when he heard Yoda had sent her, and he shoved her into line with the rest of the troopers. 

He had them do pushups first, then run laps around the Jedi Temple. By the end of the day, Ahsoka was exhausted. Cody laughed when she asked for breaks or when she wanted for breath. Alongside the clones who were used to doing these exercises, she must have looked like someone who never got out of the house.  

Cody didn't boss, he led. Instead of simply telling them to do pushups and watching, he got down on his hands and feet and did them in pace with the other s, encouraging and criticizing where necessary.

Like a real leader, Ahsoka thought admirably. 

During situps, after Cody had finished his forty along with half the present clones, Ahsoka used her arms to push herself up.

 "Not that way, Padawan Tano!" Cody yelled. "Put your back and butt into it!" 

 Ahsoka glared at him and several clones chuckled. 

She couldn't wait for the day to end.

Anakin didn't tell Obi-Wan what he'd done with Ahsoka. Instead he said Yoda had sent him, and Obi-Wan and he meditated. 

Anakin found it boring, but Obi-Wan seemed to enjoy his company, so he tried to act cheerful. 

Oh, he couldn't wait for tonight. Maybe he'd sleep in his Jedi quarters instead of with Padmé. What he'd done today was better than what she could do, anyhow, with her whole once-a-month deal. 

Ahsoka was so much more fun.
