Commander Fox saw everyone freeze when he came in. Clone troopers were rarely seen this part of Coruscant, so he could understand the surprise, but they had work to do.
Now he saw a body draped on the floor beside an empty table. It was a man, and he was dead from a blaster shot through the lung.
"Who killed him?" Fox asked a woman sitting nearby.
" C-cad Bane, " she stuttered, looking fearful.
So not only am I searching for a missing Jedi, I've also found a lead that a very wanted man was here recently.
Fox narrowed his eyes. "Lock down all nearby spaceports and set up a guarded perimeter," he ordered a few idle Shock Troopers.
" Yes, Commander, " they said, walking away.

The ship had two cabins, but one was filled to the brim with more crates of spice. The empty one had a cheap bed and a water dispenser. Ahsoka knew that this must not be a first class ship.
Most of the rooms were filled with illegal spice crates, apart from the bridge, common quarters, and arsenal, which held some impressive weapons. Bane took his pick almost immediately, and told Ahsoka she could have the rest, save for spare ammunition.
The common quarters had a food freshener that was dirty and smelled, and the bridge had bodies in it. Ahsoka tried to find a place to lay down for the night and settled on the bedroom. She had been going to leave it for Bane, but he was drinking in the pilot's chair, and she decided he wouldn't miss it.
The bed was very uncomfortable and nothing like what Ahsoka had slept on before. It smelled musty and had stained sheets.
Don't spice smugglers keep anything clean? she wondered before she went to sleep.
