Lionel sighed as he helped Viola out of his Lexus 4×4, the brunette flashed him a nervously smile as he wrapped an arm around her waist and held her close for a moment.

Today was Andres Iniesta’s wedding and Lionel was officially introducing his fiancée to the world, the brunette was wearing a navy short dress with embellished belt paired with black heeled sandals and black double bar clutch bag.

“You ready for this?” Lionel murmured softly as Viola laced their fingers, she nodded her head before someone called out to the couple.

Cesc approached with his girlfriend, Daniella, who offered Viola a small smile as the two footballers greeted one another.

The wedding was being held at Tamarit Castle and was going to be a pretty glamorise event. Daniella rolled her eyes as the two men who started to talk quickly at football,

“I’m Daniella… you must be Viola,” she said making the brunette nod her head; it was clear to see that the younger woman was nervous and Daniella had a feeling that she and Shakira were going to have to take her under their wings.

The two women stood awkwardly for a moment before Daniella linked the brunette and slipped them away from their other halves, who didn't even seem to notice that they were leaving them behind.

“You’ll get used to the football banter,” Daniella said making Viola smile at her, she knew what the older woman was attempting to do and she appreciated it.

The two were quickly approached by Yolanda, who smiled as she realised who the woman was with Daniella.

“Yolanda, this is Viola… Leo’s fiancée,” the older brunette said introducing Yolanda to the younger woman.

“It’s nice to finally meet you, I hope Leo’s hasn’t been locking you away,” Yolanda said making Viola shake her head, the two older women shared a look; it was clear that this brunette wasn’t anything like the last one that Lionel had been with.

“Plus if he ever strays again… I’ll make sure that Victor deals with him,” Yolanda promised the brunette; she didn't know how Lionel could cheat on someone with Antonella, while he had someone like Viola waiting to marry him.

“Don’t worry about it… I think Leo learnt his lesson from last time,” Viola said winking at Yolanda, who grinned; she had to admit she liked Viola a lot more than she had liked Antonella.

It was another twenty minutes before Lionel and Cesc caught up with their girlfriends, both surprised to see how well Viola was getting along with a couple of the other WAGs.

Lionel took Viola’s hand making the brunette flash him a smile causing several of the other women to coo at how sweet the two of them looked; Daniella linked hands with Cesc and offered a small smile.

They could see that the two were trying to act natural, though it was clear that no one suspected the real reason behind their engagement and probably never would.

The reception for the wedding was held at Restaurante Mas D’en Ros and it was clear that the attention was moving from Andres and his wife, Anna, to Lionel and Viola; people were slightly curious about the brunette that they had never met before.

“So how did the two of you met?” Pep asked making the argentine stiffen while Viola stared at the former Barcelona coach; they should have known that people would start asking such questions.

“Our parents are very old friends, I was visiting my Abuelos in Argentina and Lionel hit me on the back of the head with a football,” Viola lied making Pep and a couple of the footballers chuckle at the tale, Lionel glanced at his fiancée wondering where she was going with this.

“What else can I say? It was love at first sight,” Viola said with a shrug, Lionel smiled slightly relieved that she had kept the story believable and not dragged it out.

Sipping slightly on her glass of champagne, Viola almost choked at the next question.

"So how did you propose?” Nuria asked making Lionel and Viola look at one another not knowing what to say.

“I took Viola on a picnic in the park back in Rosario one night. Just the two of us, lying on a blanket under the stars with chocolate covered strawberries, champagne…” Lionel said making a couple of his friends spouses coo at the idea of him being so sweet to Viola, they could already see a change in him from when he had been with Antonella.

The argentine drew Viola closer to him and smiled softly.

“I popped the ring into a glass of champagne… though it didn't stop Viola from nearly choking on it, sort of killed the moment,” Lionel said with a shrug making a couple of people chuckle while Viola looked up at him.

In all honesty if Lionel had asked her to marry in such away then she would have said yes in a heartbeat, it was the sort of proposal that Viola had dreamed about even if she was arranged to marry Lionel.

“That’s so sweet,” Nuria said making Lionel shrug while a couple of his nearby team-mates teased him; Cesc and Gerard glanced at their friend knowing that, if he wasn’t arranged to marry Viola, then that was how he wanted to propose to Antonella.

Viola brushed some hair from her face and sighed as she watched Lionel talk with a couple of his team-mates; she was sat with Daniella, who was keeping the brunette in the group.

“So Viola, when are you and Leo getting married?” Lorena asked making Viola look at her startled, Daniella choked on her drink wondering what the younger woman would say without adding more pressure to her relationship with Lionel.

“13th of October,” Viola said remembering the date that their parents had set for their wedding, it was the only part that their parents would plan and then the rest was up to them; it had already been agreed that they would marry here in Barcelona.

Daniella looked at the brunette while the others worked out that there was no match that weekend and that the couple hadn’t planned their wedding while there was a match due.

“That’s not far away… I hope you have started planning there is a lot that goes into organising a wedding,” Anna said as she sat down next to the brunette; Viola paused for a moment at the thought of what needed to be done before they married.

There was only three months until they were expected to marry and nothing had even been organised apart from the date.

“Don’t worry about it… we’ll all pitch in and help,” Patricia said as she rested a hand on her stomach, she had recently announced that her and David were expecting their third child.

Daniella glanced over at Lionel, who seemed to be having the small talk as this one with his friends; she hoped that he was aware that things were only going to get more complicated the more he kept the real reason of his engagement hidden from the rest of the team.
