Staring at the tablets that her mother has sent her, Viola couldn’t believe that they were already starting to push for the grandchildren; Lionel shifted nervously knowing that they were expected to fall pregnant sooner rather than later.

“When do you need to start taking them?” Lionel asked making the brunette look at him, they had expected to at least have a year after the wedding to try for a baby; but with these tablets being sent it was clear that, that wasn’t the option.

“As soon as possible,” Viola said making Lionel nod his head, he couldn't believe that their parents were pushing this; they were already getting married in November, he didn't understand what the rush was.

The brunette sighed knowing that there was no way around not giving their parents a grandchild, if she didn't fall pregnant within the first few weeks of marriage then they would know that she hadn’t taken the pills or would insist in a fertility test.

The wedding plans were already falling into place; they were marrying on the 13th of October at the Castell de Rocaberti; Anna had helped Viola chose the venue since she didn't know where she wanted to marry and Lionel was happy to pay for whatever she wanted.

“They could have given us more time,” the argentine murmured making his fiancée nod her head; she sighed after a moment and looked at him.

It was now the end of August and the couple had been living together for over two months now; something that had allowed them to fall into a small routine.

“How are things coming along for the wedding?” Lionel asked as Viola set down the tablets, she looked at him and offered him a small smile.

The wedding had been her main focus since he had gone back to training, with the brunette slowly preparing to become Viola Faye Messi.

“Everything’s going well… there’s not much really left to do,” Viola said softly making Lionel nod his head, he knew that she still hadn’t gotten her dress; it was something that she was putting off until September.

“So they expect you to fall pregnancy straight after the wedding?” Naya asked as she handed some herbal tea to Heather, who smiled at her gratefully as she rested a hand on the swell of her stomach; the baby was due any day now and they were excited.

“Yep,” Viola said making Naya roll her eyes as she looked at her friend, she couldn't believe that her parents would ask her to do this even after they had arranged for her to marry Lionel.

Heather suddenly gasped and rested a hand on her stomach, she grinned as she looked at Naya who was staring at her worried.

“I think my water just broke,” the blonde said making Viola’s eyes widened as she realised what was going to happen.

Naya sat numb as she took in her wife’s words making Viola rolled her eyes as she pushed the Puerto Rican to get her to move; the brunette moved to help Heather to the car.

“Come on Naya… get the maternity bag,” Viola said as she headed out the front door with Heather, she knew that they would have to move now if they wanted to make it to the hospital in time.

After helping Heather into the car, Viola quickly sent a text to Lionel informing him that she was going to the hospital as Naya appeared with the maternity bag.

Viola smiled as she held Heather’s hand in comfort as the blonde experienced another contraction, she knew that there couldn't be much time left until Heather had her baby; Naya was pacing nervously as she looked at the midwife.

"Okay, everything looks okay,” the midwife said as Heather squeezed Viola’s hand; the brunette flinched as she looked at her friend who was hurting.

The sound of a phone ringing made Viola rolled her eyes, she looked at the phone she furrowed her brow as she realised that it was Lionel calling her.

The brunette switched her phone off as she spotted the look from the midwife making her mouth an apology.

“Call me if you need anything,” the midwife said making Heather nod her head as Naya moved back to her side, they didn't know how long they were going to be here.

Viola flexed her fingers on the hand that Heather was holding, the brunette knew that she was going to have to see what Lionel wanted since she knew that after she had disconnected the call that he would try again.

“Will you both be okay for a moment? I have to call Leo back,” Viola said making Heather nod as Naya took her hand and smiled gratefully at the brunette for what she had done.

The brunette stepped out of the hospital room and moved into the area where you could use your mobile phone; she furrowed her brow as the phone told her she had seven missed calls.

However before she had the chance to dial Lionel’s number, it started to ring again this time it was Cesc calling her; she frowned wondering what was going on.

“Hola?” Viola said as she leant against the wall, she heard a shout of relief from Cesc before he started hurling questions at her.

“Cesc, I’m fine… Heather’s gone into labour,” the brunette explained when she realised that they were worried that something had happened to her; she grinned as she heard Lionel sigh in relief since the call was now on speaker phone.

“You had us worried Viola,” Gerard said making the brunette apologise, it was the last thing that she had wanted them to do; she had only been thinking of making sure that Heather was okay when she’d text Lionel earlier.

“I’ll be there shortly,” Lionel said making the brunette smile, she knew that it was him keeping up appearances but she was grateful that he was coming to the hospital for her.

Six hours after Heather had gone into labour, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl; the blonde grinned as she watched Viola coo over the newborn.

“We going to name her Rachel Viola Pierce-Lopez,” Naya said making the brunette look up at her while Lionel stared between the two women; ever since Viola had arrived in Barcelona, she was working her way into people’s hearts.

“You don’t have to,” Viola said making Heather and Naya look at one another, they had done it because the brunette was the first person to not truly judge them because they were lesbians.

“We want to… to thank you for everything,” Heather said making Viola look at her confused, she didn't know what she had done to make the two women give their daughter her name as her middle name.

Lionel watched as Heather handed Viola, baby Rachel; the brunette cooed softly making him smile as he thought about one day that they would have children of their own; he looked forward to the day that he would become a father.

The argentine smiled as he watched Viola with Rachel, there was no denying that the brunette would be a wonderful mother when the time came.
