Lionel grinned as he wrapped his arms around Viola’s waist, his hand rested on the swell of her stomach; the two of them were currently away on a babymoon before things started to get serious.
The couple was currently in Formentera, in the Balearic Islands for a week to enjoy their time together before the baby was due, Viola was thirty-one weeks pregnant and the couple was pleased that everything seemed to be going well so far.
Lionel nuzzled his head calmly against hers making the brunette look back at him, he kissed her lips making her smile up at them; things had been going well for them in the last week since Antonella had gone to Argentina to see her parents before her baby was due in August.
“How are you feeling?” Lionel asked as he kissed her again, he knew that while things had been going well for them recently that things were still delicate between them and the footballer wasn’t about to risk anything with her.
“I’m fine,” Viola insisted as she kissed his lips, she knew that the paparazzi were probably having a field day with pictures of the two of them; it was the last full week of May and with little else to do back in Barcelona the couple had flown out when they had gotten the chance.
Lionel grinned as he felt a swift kick from Viola’s stomach, he kissed her neck as he thought about the child that she was carrying; he couldn't wait to be a father and with only nine weeks left, he knew that there wasn’t long left.
“Why don’t we go for a paddle?” the argentine said as he nudged his wife gently, she looked at him before nodding her head; the warm summer sun beat down on them as Lionel helped his wife to her feet.
Viola had persuaded her husband to invest in some proper swim wear since Chris had sent her some pictures of Lionel on holiday in previous years where he had gone to the beach in his boxer briefs.
The brunette was wearing a black maternity swimsuit with bow for the beach; she had gone shopping with Naya and Heather before she had gone on her babymoon so that she would have some swimwear to wear.
Heading down into the cool waters, Viola rolled her eyes as Lionel glared at the paparazzi that were further up the beach that were taken pictures of them; she had learnt to ignore the presence in her life.
“We should think of some names,” Viola mused as she looked back at her husband as she waded into the water, she tilted her head as she watched him; she grinned as he pulled her close as they stood in the ocean. Lionel held her close as they enjoyed the cool waters around them.
“Do you know what you want to call him?” Lionel asked as he rested his head against hers for a moment before she stepped away from him and shook her head; she hadn't really thought of a name that she could call their son.
“I don’t know,” Viola admitted making Lionel chuckle, he moved towards the brunette as they waded through the waters; he knew that there was still time before their due date for them to think about this.

“I’ve been thinking about getting another tattoo,” Lionel said making Viola pause as she slipped her slammer burgundy sandals; she looked at her husband as he pulled on his top as they prepared to leave the beach to get some lunch.
The brunette was wearing a red maternity vest in soft touch fabric and maternity denim shorts over her black maternity swimsuit; she stared at him for a moment wondering what he was thinking about.
She had told him how much his tattoo of his mother freaked her out when they were in bed together, Viola was grateful that he tried to cover it while she was pregnant; it had started to bother her more as her pregnancy continued.
“Leo, it better not be my face,” the brunette warned him making Lionel chuckle as he approached his wife as they collected their things so they could head back to the apartment that they were staying in for the week.
Viola glared at her husband for a moment before he kissed her lips, she knew that he was trying to distract her from what he had planned; Lionel knew that there was a chance that she wouldn’t be happy when she learnt what he had planned.
“Leo?” Viola asked as he took her hand so that they could start walking back to the apartment, she watched him curiously as they started to head back; of course she didn't disapproved of the idea of the tattoo, it just worried her about what he might get done.
Viola herself had a small blue butterfly tattoo that she had gotten when she graduated from high school along with Kurt; the tattoo was on her left foot and Lionel had been surprised when he had seen it.
“What are you thinking about?” Viola asked curiously as she walked close to her husband, he smiled at her as they walked the short walk back to their apartment; he drew her closer as they walked towards the building in the shade.
“I was actually thinking of getting your name done,” Lionel said as they headed up the stairs to the apartment, Viola looked at him for a moment.
She knew that it was sweet of him to want to do that but things between them were still stressed and she didn't want her husband to permanently mark his skin with her name and then for them to separate later on.
“Leo,” the brunette said shaking her head, he smiled at her and kissed her lips before they walked into their apartment; he knew that she was apprehensive of his plan but it was something that he did want to do.
“I want to Lala, I want something of you with me,” Lionel said as they headed into the apartment, the brunette sighed as she realised that she wasn’t going to talk him out of this.

Lionel glanced at a sleeping Viola, he knew that she was still wary of how their relationship was going; she feared that when Antonella’s daughter was born that he would leave her and their son.
Something that Lionel could never bring himself to do, the footballer had no intention of forsaking his relationship with his wife for anything that Antonella had to offer him; he would care for her daughter if she was his but he had no interest in getting back with her.
Lionel sighed as he settled down again next to his wife, he had been thinking about getting the tattoo for a while now and since Viola’s birthday and his was approaching again; he wanted to do something.
Closing his brown eyes, Lionel wondered what he could possibly get that wouldn’t upset his wife too much; he knew that she felt uncomfortable with the tattoo of his mother.
The brunette had pointed it out when they had first started sharing a bed and now nearly a year later, her feelings about it remained the same.
Lionel had to admit that when he had gotten the tattoo of his mother’s face, he had never given it much thought about how it would affect any relationship that he had.
Viola had stated that while she liked Celia, she didn't want to see the woman after she’d just had sex with her husband much less have her mother-in-laws face stare at her when she woke up.
