*Katniss's POV*

It's been about two years since my mom died, an I miss her, and sometimes she enters my nightmares, but I find ways to cope with it, mostly involving Peeta.

I miss her like I missed Prim. I think of it every now and then, but mostly it is kept out of my mind.

Peeta and I have had talk of another child, but no serious commitments yet. Lizzie is 2 years old now, and she is now able to walk, and get almost-complete sentences out.

I've kept in touch with Gale and Johanna, Annie and Finnick, and Effie, but we don't often visit.

Speaking of Gale and Johanna, one day I got a call from the Girl with the Axe herself. I answer on the third ring.

"Hello Fire Girl," she starts, her typical way of greeting me.

"Hello, Johanna. How is everything in your house?"

"Funny thing, that's why I called. Katniss, I am not typically kind to you. Not really ever, except the few times we bond and have conversations when you visit. But I am going to be kind and deliver this news slowly. Gale misses his home and all of D12's ways. And he and I have done a lot of conversing, and we have come to the conclusion that we are moving to D12. So I am in no way asking for your permission or something, but I thought it would be nice to give you a heads up. We will be moving in in about a month."

I am lost for words, "Ummm..."

"If you don't want it, we will move to a far part of D12 where you never have to worry about swing us. But we are closing on a house in 2 weeks."

"No, Johanna, I am happy. This will be great. Lizzie will have someone to play with. Her and Catherine are about the same age, and they'd love just doing whatever 2 year olds do. And Joshua is welcome to come over whenever he feels like it. I can't wait!"

"Great. I won't keep you. Just called to inform you. Bye."

As promised, Gale and Johanna move in about a month, and they fit right into the scheme of things. Peeta and I help them move in, and they chose a truly lovely house. Suits them quite nicely.

I think this will be good for both of our families. Friends. Us adults, the kids, and Haymitch can get over it. He's taken to calling Lizzie 'Lizard' which I really hate. Every time I correct him, he apologizes and then calls her it again two minutes later. It's a vicious cycle.

And everything is great. Joshua goes to school here, and the girls will when they get older. School starts at 5 years old, so none of our kids will go to school yet.

I love having more people close by. It's nice. It feels like my own community of love.
