*Katniss's POV*

So a few months later it was time for us to go to the Capitol where Johanna and Gale decided to get married. A strange place, I thought, for them given how much they hated the Capitol. But the Capitol has changed. We as a country have changed. So if that's where they want to get married, it's fine by me.

We board the train on a hot July morning at 6:30 am to go to the Capitol. We each pack a not-all-the-way-full suitcase given we'll only need one pair of pajamas and one fancy dress. We arrive that night, and get settled in a hotel, which is very nice. We sleep because tomorrow will be a big day.

I wake up at about 8:30 the next morning, Peeta makes us breakfast, and we just lay in bed together and whisper sweet nothings at one another and, you know, kiss a little. Maybe a lot.

Finally, at around 1:00, we start getting ready for the ceremony at 3:00.

I'm ready in a simple white sundress with a matching lacy hat, and minimal makeup. We leave at 2:30. We get there in about ten minutes. When we arrive, everything looks fabulous. The cake is gorgeous, the aisle and covering at the end are beautiful, and neither the bride or groom has arrived on scene yet, because they don't come out until the last minute, I can't say anything about them, but I'm sure they look stunning.

Finally, at 3:00 sharp, Gale walks to the front of the aisle just outside of the covering where they are to say their vows. He looks extremely handsome. He starts tearing up just as Peeta did when Johanna walks down the aisle. She looks GORGEOUS. Johanna Mason has never looked this good. Ever. She has grown her hair out and it is in loose curls that fall to the small of her back. Her makeup makes her dark eyes look mysterious and beautiful.at the same time. Her dress is white with streaks of red with flowers at the end of the streaks. Her veil is white with a red flowered headband.

They get to the vows and say all of them and the priest says you may kiss the bride, just as they pull away, a sewer covering pops out of the ground, and a man crawls out with a giant hole in his shoulder, wrapped in a bandage (that's not really a bandage but more like some scraps that he pulled together) that needed changing so long ago I can't even bear to look at it. He also has a pretty good cut in the side of his neck, and long blonde scraggly hair and a beard, but the minute we make eye contact, I see the sea green in his eyes, and I know exactly who this man is. Finnick Odair.
