*Katniss's POV*

I could not hold in my excitement for them, I was so happy! A Haymitch and Effie marriage!

"Congratulations you guys!" I exclaimed as I ran to give them each a hug. Lizzie followed and jumped on Haymitch's lap to give him a big hug and say, "Yay for Grandpa Haymitch."

To which he replied, "Thank you, little Lizard." And so I slapped his arm as is custom when he calls her that retched name.

"We would love for you two to help us with the planning." Effie said politely, and I noticed she had her hair down in it's natural way, with no makeup, and she was a beautiful sight to see.

"We would love to." Peeta replies, "Anything we can do to help, we'd be happy to do."

So we stayed at their house until 9:00 at night, talking everything wedding. Peeta made us dinner with what Haymitch had in his pantry, which wasn't much. It was delicious nevertheless.

When we had to leave to get Lizzie in bed, we hadn't decided on much, because Effie and Haymitch has different ideas of a wedding. We promised to come back the next day.

So that's what we did. We dropped Lizzie of at Gale and Johanna's, and went to plan some more.

By lunch, we'd agreed on pretty much nothing except that it would be in the fall. It was summer right now, and I was worried. I was due in three months. But Efiie promised everything would be fine.

At lunch, we talked about something else.

"So, away from us. What are you thinking for baby names?" Effie asks.

"Well," I say and look at Peeta, "We haven't thought too much about it. Any suggestions?"

Effie goes into deep thought, enough that there is a five minute pause between question and answer. She finally speaks up.

"Edward Matthew Mellark."

"No." I say, "Haymitch can come up with some sort of dumb nickname off of that. We didn't think about that last time."

"Well then, my second favorite. Christian Matthew Mellark."

That was beautiful, I decided, and perfect. So we all agreed his name was going to be Christian. We talked late into the night, long enough where Johanna called and asked if we wanted Lizzie to sleep over. We said yes.

By that night, still nothing was decided except "in the fall". I was worried. Haymitch and Effie couldn't agree on the things we needed. Haymitch said Effie was inviting too many people, which I agreed with.

Haymitch wanted it to be in District 12, Effie wanted to go to the Capitol. Haymitch was definitely not budging on that one. Peeta would make cake samples another day, and Effie had sole control on what dress she would wear, so thankfully there was no controversy there.

We all agreed we could take a couple days off of wedding planning duty, and that was that. We'd meet in a week. But just as we were leaving, Effie asked me to be the maid of honor.

I couldn't respond for a couple minutes, just standing in their doorway crying. I of course said yes.

That night, Peeta asked me, "Why do you think they want it scheduled so soon?"

"I'm not sure, but there's probably a reason. I trust them."

"I'm just worried for you. I don't want something to happen."

"Oh I'll be fine." I say, giving him a kiss, "Don't you worry about me."
