*Katniss's POV*

And here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the big day. I wake up at 6:00 and my body tells me that it's far too early for a 9 month pregnant woman to be up. So I get up slowly and finally make it downstairs to the living room. That literally took all the energy I have in my entire body.

But I dedicated this day to Effie, and so I force myself to call her house because there is no way I can walk over there.

She picks up and without me saying anything, announce, "I'll be over in ten minutes!"

She sounds like she's been up all night, and I don't blame her. She must've also had a bit of coffee.

She shows up, as promised, ten minutes later and brings me coffee too. I turn it down because I am a little shaky and don't think the caffeine will help.

I start with her hair, trimming the ends a little, washing it, and drying it. Peeta awakes at 8:00 and heads to Haymitch's vowing to not spill a single detail.

After her hair is dry, I curl it into tight bouncy corkscrew curls which I think look lovely on her. This takes close to two hours and a lot of hair spray to accomplish.

When her hair is curled and I've pulled a little from the front back, but I also cut some hair shorter to frame her face, and that hangs to the sides of her face.

So, it's 10:00 and I am all but useless when it comes to makeup. So I call Johanna over, and she gets straight to work. She mainly does just a very natural look with some highlights and shadowing, then gets to work on the eyes.

"This is the most important part of the look," she says, and Effie nods in agreement.

She ends up doing a very small amount of pink around the eyes with mascara and eyeliner that curls up at the end. It's perfect. We now have 3 hours until the wedding at 2:00.

So we decided to get our nails done at a place in town, careful not to stumble into the boys. We get french pedicures and bright yellow fingers with a white and black outlined flowers on our thumbs.

With an hour left, Johanna goes home, and I am left to help Effie get into her dress. I am very uncomfortable during all this, and yeah, have a few contractions, but I'll be fine.

Then, we do my hair and slight makeup and manage to get my body into my yellow sundress with matching flats. Thank God I'm not wearing heels.

Finally, it's time and I ask Effie if she has someone to walk her down the aisle. She said no, and I promised to do it, even if it wasn't traditional.

Then we hear the bells ringing outside, and walk to the meadow slowly. When we get there, we put on Effie's veil, and I prepare to walk with her down the aisle.

As the music starts, we begin walking down the aisle, and we see Haymitch at the end, standing as tall and handsome as ever.

He is wearing a brown/green/yellow/purple plaid vest under a tan suit with a white tie. Not a tux, but I think this is much more Haymitchy. As I pass her into Haymitch's arms, I feel a sharp pain and realize I'm peeing myself, only its not pee.

My water just broke in the middle of a wedding. Dammit.
