Castiel closed the front door and leaned up against it for a moment, smiling to himself, before walking into the living room. Gabriel was already home and was watching Gilmore Girls with Lucifer. Castiel has four brothers Gabriel and Balthazar who are two years younger than him and Lucifer and Michael who are 4 years older than him. He had a younger sister but she and Castiel's mother died in a car accident 6 years ago.

"Where were you Cassie?" Said Lucifer as he glanced at Castiel.

"At Ellen's diner with a new friend."

Lucifer noticed that Castiel seemed to be very happy, happy and distracted. Castiel never lets anyone call him Cassie without correcting them. "Who is this friend?" Lucifer asks as he turns his attention away from Dean Forrester and towards Castiel.

"Just some guy. He helped me with my car and then we started talking and went to get something to eat."  Castiel said, trying to wipe the smile from his face and failing miserably.

"You sure he's just some guy Castiel?" Lucifer asked mockingly. "You seem awfully happy over just some guy."

At this point Gabriel turned away from the television as well. "Wait what's happening? Castiel got a boyfriend?!"

Castiel blushed furiously. "No Gabriel I did not get a boyfriend!" Castiel quickly said. Both Gabriel and Lucifer gave Castiel a look of disbelief. "FINE! He asked me out." Castiel mumbled as he crossed his arms and flopped onto the couch in defeat.

"I KNEW IT!" Lucifer screamed while Gabriel started chanting "Cassie's got a boyfriend! Cassie's got a boyfriend!" Lucifer quickly joined in the chanting.

"Would you two shut up already!" Castiel said still unable to stop smiling.  Lucifer and Gabriel quickly sat down on either side of Castiel and started asking him questions. Castiel held up a hand to stop them.

"His name is Dean Winchester. He is the same age as me. He has a brother named Sam and he lives down the street. He is going to pick me up tomorrow at around seven. That's all I know so stop asking me questions."  Castiel got up and started towards the kitchen. Lucifer and Gabriel followed behind him while Michael walked down the stairs to see what all the noise was about.

"What the fuck are you guys yelling about? I'm trying to study!" Michael says as he joins the group that has formed in the kitchen.

Castiel opened the fridge to get a bottle of water as Lucifer and Gabriel filled Michael in on the current situation. "Nope, not dealing with this right now." Michael says as he turns and walks out of the kitchen.

"Don't just leave me alone with them!" Castiel yells after him. "Your date, you can deal with them! Just keep it down!" Michael responds.

Castiel turns towards the his other two brothers. "Let's get this over with." Castiel sighs.

"So what does he look like? Where is the date? What are you going to wear?" Asked Gabriel faster than one would think possible.

"I got pizza! What's going on in here?" Says their dad Chuck as he walks into the kitchen. "What did Lucifer do?"

"Why do you always assume I did something?!" Lucifer said as Castiel laughed and grabbed a piece of pizza.

"Because unfortunately your mother and I named you a little too accurately, Lucifer" Chuck says as he sits down taking a piece of pizza. "So what's happening?"

"Castiel has a date tomorrow!" Says Gabriel as he dodges the empty water bottle that Castiel had thrown at him.

"What's the guys name?" Chuck asked. Castiel's family was completely fine with his sexuality. The rest of dinner went on with the Novaks discussing what Castiel was going to do on his date. Castiel went to bed that night thinking of a certain green eyed boy and hoping that time would move faster.

-at Dean's house-

"SAMMY! I'M HOME!" Dean yelled as soon as he walked in the door after Cas had dropped him off.

"What took you so long? And why are you yelling, I'm right here." Sam responded from the couch.

"I went to Aunt Ellen's diner with a new friend. Did you know Ellen and Jo's diner was like ten minutes from here?"  Dean asked as he flopped onto the couch next to Sam.

"Yeah I did. When you say friend you don't mean-"

"I wasn't on a date Sammy, but we're going on one tomorrow so you gotta take care of your own dinner okay?"  Dean says, realising that he should probably make something for Sam to eat.

"What's her name?" Said they're dad, John as he walked in the room with two plates of pasta and put one down in front of Sam while sitting across from them with the other.

"His name is Castiel. He lives just up the street. I thought you weren't home until late today?" Dean said as he stole a noodle from Sam's plate.

"I got off early. Castiel huh? Where you taking him?" John asked as he ate his pasta.

"I'm not sure but I have until tomorrow to decide."

"Why don't you take him to the drive-in?  They've got a Swayze match up tomorrow." Sam interjected.

"Sound like a good idea, thanks Sammy!" Dean ruffled Sam's hair and started to leave the room. He went up to his room and started playing some AC/DC on his old record player. He flopped onto his bed thinking about the next day, when he would once again be alone with Cas.
