After an hour of interrogating Dean, the brothers finally agree that Dean does not need to be eliminated. They learned about his family, which consists of his dad John and his brother Sam. His mum had died in a fire when he was four. They learned that he worked at his Uncle Bobby's auto shop. They found out everything, including that he's an Aquarius, likes long walks on the beach and frisky people.

"What is going on here?" Chuck asks when he walks through the door carrying groceries and sees the four boys laughing and joking around.

"Dad this is Dean Winchester." Castiel says shyly while he, Lucifer and Gabriel walk over to help Chuck with the groceries.

Dean stands up to shake Chuck's hand and introduce himself but as soon as he sticks his hand out and starts to talk, Gabriel puts a bag of groceries in Dean's hand and says "You can help too Deano." before he walks into the kitchen with Lucifer. Dean immediately looks awkward and surprised as Chuck laughed and Cas smiled shyly and turned red with embarrassment.

"It's nice to meet you Dean." Chuck laughs as he walks into the kitchen, leaving Cas and Dean alone in the living room. Castiel immediately starts to apologise for his family's behaviour.

"I'm so sorry about them. You probably had better things to do today than come over here and be questioned by my crazy brothers. I had no idea they had texted you. They are annoying assbutts although I think their intentions are mostly good but they were way out of line taking my pho-" Castiel was cut off when Dean's lips touched his.

"It's okay Cas, I wouldn't have come if I didn't want to be here. Your brothers are fine okay? I like you Cas and just because your family can be little odd won't change that. I like the change, change is good." Dean smiles at the look of surprise and relief on Cas' face.

"Stop making out in the living room and bring the rest of the stuff into the kitchen!" Lucifer called from the next room. Castiel immediately blushed and Dean winked at him and walked into the kitchen holding the rest of the bags. Castiel just stood in the living room for a moment, thinking about Dean and smiling to himself, before following Dean into the kitchen. Castiel sat at the table next to Dean while Lucifer and Gabriel sat across from them and Chuck was putting the groceries away. They all talked and laughed and during the conversation Dean took Cas' hand and laced their fingers together causing Cas to blush which thankfully nobody noticed. While they were talking Cas phone went off, showing him that Charlie had sent him a text.

Charlie: Hey Cassie. Kevin, Garth, Ash and Jo are hanging out at my place. I expect you over soon to talk about your date with Dean.

Castiel let go of Dean's hand so he could properly respond to the text.

Castiel: Dean is here, at my house, with me, right now. I am not telling him to go home.

Charlie: Then bring him too!

Castiel: No

Charlie: I swear to Merlin. Castiel, if you don't get your ass over here I will throw you in the fires of Mount Doom.

Castiel: Fine! I'll ask him but I make no promises.

Dean gives Castiel a questioning look and Cas responds with
"It's Charlie. She wants us to come over."

"Well then you better go. Even I know better than to mess with Charlie." Chuck says with a smile as he sits down at the table.

"Do you want to go Dean?" Castiel asks nervously. He looks so cute when he's nervous. Dean thinks to himself before saying that he would love to go to Charlie's with Cas.

The boys stand up to leave. Lucifer and Gabriel don't seem to notice as they argue about whether or not water is wet.

"It was nice meeting you Mr. Novak." Dean says as he successfully manages to shake Chuck's hand.

"Please, call me Chuck. Feel free to come back anytime. Oh, Castiel don't be back too late, I need your help at the bookstore tomorrow."

"Ok Dad. See you later. Come on Dean let's go before they notice we left." Castiel says as he takes Dean's hand and leads him out the front door.  They walk to Dean's car at the end of the driveway.

"Your dad owns a bookstore?" Dean asked Castiel as they got into the impala.

"Yeah, I told you about it yesterday remember? I work at my dads bookstore." Castiel said, slightly disappointed that Dean didn't remember what he had said.

"Oh yeah! I remember now. I got distracted at one point when we were talking." Dean said with a smile as he thought back to yesterday and started the engine and pulled out of the driveway.

"Why were you distracted?" Castiel asked, curious as to what distracted Dean while they were on their date yesterday.

"Have you looked in the mirror lately? You are very distracting." Dean smirked and took Cas' hand as he drove towards Charlie's house. Cas smiled and rubbed the back of Dean's hand with his thumb. While they were in the car Cas' phone rang. It was Charlie.

"Hello" Castiel answered.

"Put it on speaker so I can hear too" Dean said, after Cas told him who was calling.

"Hold on I'm putting you on speaker so Dean can hear you."

"Where are you guys?" Charlie said sounding worried.

"About ten minutes away, we just left. Why? Is everything alright?" Castiel asked with concern in his voice. All of a sudden they heard frightened screams in the background.

"Just hurry up we need your help!" Charlie said before hanging up the phone.

Cas and Dean shared a worried look before Dean returned his other hand to the wheel and drove faster.
