The stars twinkled above as soft music played around them. The picnic blanket soft beneath them as they enjoyed their sloppily made sandwiches and tiny cups of kool-aid.
The song that was playing over the car speakers ended and another one started.

"Dance with me." He reached his hand towards the figure next to him as he stood up. The figure took his hand and was pulled close as they started into a slow swaying, one arm on the figures waist and the other holding hands.

"But I, can't, help, falling in love, with, you..." Dean softly sang into his lovers ear.

"DEAN! GET UP!" Sam burst through Dean's bedroom door.

"Oh shit, what time is it?" Dean said as he sat up and ran his hands through his hair, going over what happened in his dream. Who was he dancing with?

"It's time for school Dean. You're going to be late, more importantly I'm going to be late. Let's go!" Sam ran down the stairs.

Dean hastily got ready, thinking that he'd ask Cas about his dream at school. He walked out to his car where Sam was already waiting in the backseat. He drove to the school, with Sam giving him directions. Sam got out as soon as they got there. Dean grabbed his bag and got out of the car only to realise that he had no clue where to go. This was his first day back since the accident, Jo's funeral was on Friday. He was introduced to all his friends there.  He took out his phone to text Cas when he saw Cas walking over to him.

"I figured you wouldn't know where to go, it being your first day back and all." Castiel said as he got closer. He smiled sadly. Dean didn't know why Cas always had a hint of sadness in his eyes. He figured it was something he didn't remember and didn't want to ask about it.

"Thanks Cas, I got out of baby and realised, I have no clue where I am." Dean laughed as Cas led him towards the building.

"Glad to see you didn't forget the Impala." Castiel laughed

"I could never forget my baby! How dare you say such a thing!" Dean joked as he bumped into Cas.

'You forgot me.' Went through Castiel's head as he laughed along at Dean's joke.

The two of them walked into the school and Castiel showed Dean to their first period class.

"This is Mr. Shurley's English class" Castiel said to Dean as he walked to the back of the class where they normally sat.

Mr. Shurley was running a little late so everyone was just talking in their seats.

"Charlie sits in front of us. She should be here by now." Castiel said as he looked around the room trying to find her.

"Charlie was the red-head right? I'm sorry, I really am trying." Dean said apologetically, looking down at his shoes.

"Dean, no one blames you. It's okay." Castiel smiled at Dean. He really didn't want Dean to feel bad for anything, it wasn't his fault that this happened.

"Sup bitches!" Charlie slid into her seat with a huge smile. A brown haired girl stood awkwardly beside her.

"Hey Charlie! Who's this?" Castiel smiled up at the obviously nervous girl. Dean looked at Cas and mouthed 'do I know her?' to which Castiel shook his head.

"This is a new student, I offered to show her around. She's from Germany. Nari this is Castiel and Dean. You can sit here with us." Charlie smiled up at Nari and patted the seat next to her.

"I wonder why you offered to show her around?" Castiel leaned over his desk to whisper to Charlie while Nari took her books out.

"Shut up! Soo Nari, tell us about yourself." Charlie leaned her back against the wall, sitting sideways on her chair with her head leaning on her hand.

"What would you like to know?" Nari asked.

"Anything, I just want to know more about you. It's part of the initiation." Charlie smirked.

"I'm from Germany, I like dogs, and... umm.. drawing... wait. What initiation?" Nari looked between the three friends who started laughing.

"If you want to join our friend group, she makes you go through an initiation.  Nothing to worry about, you don't lose too much blood." Castiel replied, still laughing.

"Here let me explain it to you..." Charlie and Nari turned to discuss the ritual.

"Cas!" Dean suddenly said. "I almost forgot, I had this dream. I was going to ask you about it."

"Why are you going to ask me about your dream?" Castiel tilted his head slightly in confusion.

"Because I think it might be a memory, or at least part of one, but I'm not sure."

"Okay, well what happened in your dream?" Castiel asked cautiously, aware that it could not involve him.

"Okay so I think I was on a date, but I couldn't see who with. We were having a picnic under the stars and started dancing to Elvis." Dean said, trying to think if there was more he could remember.

Tears started to build in Castiel's eyes as he remembered that date.  Dean had picked him up from his house and insisted on not telling him where they were going. He even made Castiel wear a blindfold.

"Okay Cas, you can take it off now." Dean said, his voice full of excitement and anticipation.

"I swear if you've taken me here to-"  Castiel stopped as he looked around at the scene before him.  Dean had taken the time to find this clearing where they could see the stars and prepared an entire picnic for them. The smile on Dean's face faltered as he saw a tear in Castiel's eye.

"Did I do something wrong? I can pack it up if-" Castiel pulled Dean towards him and kissed him.

"No one has ever done anything like this for me before. Thank you Dean, I love it." Castiel stared into Dean's eyes, their foreheads against each other.

"I'd do anything for you." Dean smiled and led Cas to the picnic blanket where he pulled out some of his homemade sandwiches before running to the car and putting on the tape he had put together specifically for this.

After enjoying their food Dean asked Castiel to dance.

"But I, can't, help, falling in love, with, you..." Dean softly sang  into Castiel's ear.

"I love you Dean." Castiel said for the first time.

"I love you too Cas." Dean replied for the first time.

"Cas? Buddy you okay?" Dean was waving his hand in front of Castiel's face.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about... Infinity War. Peter really got me." Castiel wiped the tear from his cheek and smiled at Dean.

"Okay then." Dean laughed. "So, do you know if that was real or not? I'm having a hard time sorting out what is real and what isn't."

"After school, I'll come to your place and you can tell me what you think you remember and I'll tell you if it an actual memory or not." Mr. Shurley walked into the room and the conversations slowly died down.

"You're a lifesaver Cas. I don't know what I'd do without you." Dean turned toward the front of the room and started taking down the note that was on the bored. He missed the tear that fell down Castiel's face after he said that.

A/N

Two updates in a day?!?!  I had someone (you know who you are) demanding another chapter when she wakes up. I thought that I'd listen for once.

I'm joking, I don't comply with demands, I just like making people cry.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter, I shall be starting on the next one now.
