The next day went painfully slow for both Dean and Castiel. They both arrived at the school separately and headed to their home room classes. Castiel walked into his English class and sat down next to his friend Charlie.

"Castiel! Did you see the new Avangers trailer?  We are going to see that on opening day if I have to kidnap you and drag you to the theatre."  Charlie says as Castiel sits down. Charlie goes on about the origins of Stucky for a few minutes when they hear someone say "Cas?" And Castiel turns to see who it is.

Castiel looked up and his eyes met the set of green ones he had been thinking about earlier. He should've known it was Dean, no one else calls him Cas.

"We have been in the same class for two weeks and we only met yesterday in the parking lot?" Dean laughs as he takes the empty seat next to Cas. "Hey, I'm Dean." He says to Charlie.

"Charlie, nice to meet you." Charlie smiles and turns to Castiel and whispers "Who is this? Why did you not tell me about him as soon as you got here?"

"I was going to tell you about him and our date tonight, but you kept going on about where the last infinity stone is so I was just gonna tell you after you were done." Castiel replied hastily while he took out his English notebook as Mr. Shurley had walked in the room and started the lesson. At some point during the period, Charlie had told Castiel to invite Dean to sit with them at lunch so she could judge if he was good enough for Castiel. When the bell rang Castiel asked Dean while they packed up their notebooks and Charlie not-so-subtly watched.
"Sure, I'd love to." Dean smiled as they walked out of the room.
"Great, meet us outside room 315." Castiel said quickly as Charlie pulled him towards biology.
"See you then." Dean called after Castiel as he walked down the hallway.

As Castiel and Charlie waited outside the biology classroom, Charlie looked at Castiel and demanded to be told the whole story of how he met Dean and what is going on with this date. All throughout the period they were whispering back and forth, at least until the teacher, Ms. Barnes, told them to shut up. At lunch, they met up with their other friends, Kevin and Garth, and sat down in their normal spot on the floor outside room 315. After about five minutes, Dean showed up and sat in the empty spot next to Castiel that Charlie had made sure was available.

"Why are we sitting on the floor?" Dean asked.
"Because there are too many people in the cafeteria. Although it's not always quiet here either." Responded Castiel. Charlie coughed and looked from Castiel to Dean to Kevin and Garth. "Dean, this is Kevin, Garth and you've already met Charlie. Guys this is Dean."

There was an awkward exchange of hellos followed by a few minutes of silence as they all ate their lunches.

"Hey, Cas are you still gonna show me around? I've got Tech next and I have no clue where to go from here." Dean asked Cas as Charlie, Kevin and Garth started talking about something sci-fi related. "Sure. Guys I'm gonna go show Dean around. I'll see you guys later." Castiel and Dean got up and Charlie looked at Castiel and mouthed "I want details tomorrow." Castiel smiled and walked down the hall with Dean.
"So, were still on for tonight right?" Dean asked confidently as Castiel led him towards the classroom.
"Yeah, of course. Although I would like to know where you are taking me." Castiel responded with a shy smile on his face while he pointed to the Tech room that Dean had only pretended to need directions to.
"It's a surprise. Don't worry, I've got it all planned." Dean smirked and then leaned towards Castiel. "I'll see you at seven." Dean whispered in Cas' ear and then in a split second decision left a quick kiss on Cas' cheek and then walked into his class, leaving Castiel blushing and smiling as he walked down the hallway.

Castiel was pacing back in forth by the front door waiting for 7:00 to come. He looked at his watch, still only 6:50. "Calm down Cassie. He'll be here soon. And stop fixing your shirt you look fine." Gabriel said as Castiel had just looked at his outfit in the mirror for the tenth time.

Castiel barely acknowledged that Gabriel had said something and continued to pace as he eagerly awaited Dean's arrival. He finally gave up pacing and sat down on the couch after five minutes of Gabriel and Lucifer telling him to calm down. Castiel had been on other dates before but he had never been this nervous. A moment later the doorbell rang and there was a scramble to the door as Gabriel and Lucifer tried to get there before Castiel.

"Hello Dean." Castiel said when he opened the door and saw Dean standing there wearing a leather jacket and jeans.
"Hey Cas, you ready to go?" Dean said. Lucifer and Gabriel then proceeded to push Castiel out of the way.
"Well hello, you must be Dean. We've heard lots about you. What are your intentions with our brother?" Lucifer says as he shakes Dean's hand. Castiel then pushes both Gabriel and Lucifer back and quickly says to Dean "Let's go before he tries to get a minute by minute plan of what we're doing." Dean laughs and starts to walk towards his car with Cas, saying "It was nice to meet you." Over his shoulder.

"Have fun Cassie. Don't do anything we wouldn't do. Don't get arrested." Lucifer and Gabriel called after the two boys followed by a "Shut up Michael it's our job to annoy him!"

As Castiel got into what he had previously heard Dean refer to as "Baby" he smiled and waved at his brothers.
"Ignore them. They can be really annoying but they mean well... I think."

Dean laughs and responds "No it's cool, They seem fine. Now, let's get going shall we?"
Dean pulls out of the driveway and starts towards what is sure to be an interesting night.
