"Can someone please just tell me what's happening?!" Dean said from his hospital bed.Everyone was at a loss, no one knew what to say to him.
"Dean, I am Dr. Sheppard, I am the leading neurosurgeon on your case. You were in an accident and after an examination we were not able to conclude what was wrong or why you passed out. Now that you've woken up you seem to be perfectly fine apa-"
"Apart from the fact that he can't remember shit!" Lucifer said, upset that Dean hurt Cas.
"So you're saying I have... what's it called?"
"Amnesia. Dean what's the last thing you remember." Dr. Sheppard questioned.
"I remember... I remember driving. We just moved again right?" Dean asked his father.
"Dean that was months ago. It's November now." John said with a look of relief that he hadn't forgotten too much.
"Shit. Okay well fill me in. Who are you guys?" Dean gestured to the Novaks. Dean was determined to remember what was going on.
"I'm Lucifer. I like to think we were friends although if you could remember you'd probably come up with some snarky comment on why we're not friends and then-"
"Lucifer shut up. I'm Chuck Novak, I'm their father. This is Balthazar, Gabriel and the one that ran out is Castiel. The one that followed him is Michael."
"Why did he run out?"
"Because you're his b-" Gabriel started.
"Best friend and he's obviously upset that you can't remember him." Chuck glared at Gabriel. Chuck decided that since it was Castiel's relationship that it was up to him whether or not he was going to tell Dean.
"Damn. Okay well if he comes back I'll apologise. What else did I miss these past few months?" Dean was starting to get overwhelmed but still wanted to know everything he could.
While they were filling him in Dr. Sheppard had a conversation with John.
"So how long is this going to last?" John asked, worried.
"I can't say for sure. He could never remember or he could remember in five minutes. It's likely that his memories will come back eventually but I can't be certain." Dr. Sheppard replied before looking at his pager that was beeping.
"I have to go but please page me if you have any questions."

"Cassie? Castiel!" Michael looked around to find his brother after he ran out of the hospital room.
Castiel was sitting on a bench outside with his head in his hands, shaking slightly. Michael sat down next to him and rubbed his back comfortingly.
"Castiel you need to calm down. This isn't your fault. There is no-"
"HOW IS IT NOT MY FAULT!" Castiel suddenly screamed. His eyes were bloodshot and Michael jumped back slightly while people glanced over to see what was happening.
"Castiel, calm down." Michael stated.
"I CAN'T! If I hadn't said we should go to the diner everything would've been fine. It was my idea. Mine Michael! And now because of that Lucifer almost died and Dean doesn't know who I am!" Castiel slumped back down on the bench and started crying again.
"Castiel. Shhhh it's okay. Well maybe it's not but it will be." Michael tried to comfort Castiel but he was pushing back everytime Michael tried to touch him.
"Okay you know what. Enough of this." Michael put one hand on each of Castiel's shoulders and turned him so they were face to face. Castiel was so shocked he stopped crying.
"Yes something shitty happened, and yes Lucifer almost died and Dean can't remember you, but here are the facts. You did NOT know the diner would blow up. Lucifer did NOT die, and the chances of Dean being able to get his memory back are high."
"How would you know that?"
"I'm going to med school remember. I could be in there having a conversation with one of the best neurosurgeons in the country but instead I'm here with you. Not because anyone forced me to but because you're my brother and you're sad and hurt and I'm here for you. Always. But that doesn't mean I'm going to let you sit here and feel sorry for yourself." Michael stated with purpose.
"I don't know what to do. Mikey, how can I help him?" Castiel asked, his eyes once again gaining a shine over them.
"You are going to go back in there and talk to him. Tell him all the things you've done over the past few months. When he can leave, take him places that you guys went. He should get his memories back Cassie you just need to be patient."
"I can't talk about us... I just can't. What if he doesn't remember? There's still a chance isn't there? I don't want him to just date me because he feels guilty that he can't remember. I'm not telling him we were together." Castiel concluded sadly.
"You ARE together. Not were. If you don't want to tell him about your relationship I won't force you. I will force you back into that hospital room though." Michael pulled Castiel off the bench and started dragging him towards the hospital.
"No need Michael. I'm coming. Thank you." Castiel hugged Michael and they walked together back to the room.
"Sorry I ran out." Castiel said shyly to the room as he walked in.
"Don't worry about it man, I get it." Dean smiled at Cas.
"I said you were friends. Though it should be up to you whether or not you want to tell him." Chuck whispered to Castiel, stopping him before he walked over to Dean's bed.
Castiel wanted nothing more than to rush to Dean, wrap his arms around him and apologise while showering him with kisses. His arm subconsciously reached forward once he got to Dean's side but stopped himself before he grabbed his hand.
"I... I was just scared I'd lose you." Tears we're starting to form in Castiel's eyes again. He smiled weakly.
"I'm glad you're okay."Dean smiled up at him. Castiel had to try very hard not to kiss him.
"I don't die easy." Dean joked. "Now, these guys tell me you can help me get my memories back?"
Castiel nodded, afraid his voice would break if he tried to speak.
"Well, let's get started."

A/N
The end of this chapter is kinda stupid, like in terms of writing but I'm not Chuck.
I have a plan that I'm actually really excited for so the next chapter should be really soon.
See you then,
