The three boys managed to get past the awkwardness and Cas and Dean started giving Sam advice on what to do during his date.
"Have fun Sammy. Use protection." Dean said with a smirk as they arrived at the theatre, causing Cas to laugh and Sam to punch Dean's shoulder.
"Shut up Dean." Sam says as he gets out of the car.
"Text me when you need me to pick you up." Dean called out the window to Sam who was walking up the steps towards the theatre.
"Got it! See you later." Sam called back before entering the building.
Dean smiled and started driving back home. He reached over and turned on the music, which happened to be "Back in Black" by AC/DC.
"Car rules Cas, driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole."
Castiel laughed. "I like AC/DC so that's not a problem."
The rest of the ride to Dean's consisted of the two boys singing all the lyrics at the top of their lungs. Once they got to Dean's house they went into the kitchen and Dean started making burgers for himself and Cas.
"So, do you like to cook Dean?" Castiel asked while the burgers were cooking on the barbecue.
"My dads away a lot for work so I end up cooking dinner for Sam and me. I don't mind it. What about you?" Dean said, leaning up against the porch.
"I prefer baking. Pies especially." Cas said with a slight smirk as he stood next to Dean. He had been informed of Dean's love of pie when they went to the diner.
"God. Could you be anymore perfect?" Dean looked over at Castiel and wrapped his arm around Cas' waist pulling him closer.
"Nope. I'm as good as they come." Castiel responded cockily before kissing Dean. They stared into each other's eyes, just enjoying the moment, before Dean moved to take the burgers off the grill. The boys moved inside and ate their burgers.
"Let's go up to my room. We can watch a movie or play Xbox." Dean said as they finished eating.
"I'm not very good at video games." Castiel responded, following Dean out of the dining room.
"I'll teach you, come on." Dean grabbed Cas' hand and ran up the stairs to his room, closing the door. Dean set up his Xbox and handed Cas a controller. He briefly explained the controls for Call of Duty before starting a zombie round.
"Dean? My gun isn't shooting anything! What do I do? DEAN THEY'RE COMING THROUGH THE WINDOW HELP! DEAN! Great now I'm dead." Den laughed while Castiel pouted slightly.
"Your so cute when you're angry." Dean smiled and leaned over to kiss Cas.
"We've been playing for almost an hour and we haven't made it past round four. Can we do something else? I suck at this." Castiel said, hoping that he didn't have to embarrass himself further.
"You don't suck Cas... okay you do, but that's just because you don't know what your doing. Here let me show you." Dean moves so he was seated with his legs on either side of Castiel and his arms reaching around so his hands covered Cas' on the controller.
"See you just have to..." Dean whispered before placing a kiss just behind Cas' ear. "use this one to move..." Dean kisses Castiel's neck. "This one to aim..." Again. "And then, shoot." At this point, neither of them were paying attention to the game as Castiel had dropped the controller, turned and grabbed Dean's face, roughly smashing their lips together. Cas' legs were wrapped around Dean's waist, his one hand tangled in Dean's hair and the other on his neck, pulling him closer. Dean's back was pressed up against the side of his bed as he slipped his hands under Castiel's shirt. Dean pulls off Cas' shirt, their lips only parting for a second before they were once again connected.
"I love video games." Castiel breathed out as Dean kissed down his neck, sucking slightly. Dean let out a small laugh as he kissed along Cas' jaw and back to his lips, hands running all over Cas' back and sides. Castiel ran his hands down Dean's chest and started to take his shirt off. Just as the shirt was pulled over Dean's head, his phone rang.
"What?!" Dean spat, as Castiel was leaving soft kisses along Dean's jaw and neck, the urgency and hunger that was there a moment ago having been lost.
"I've been texting you, like you said, for twenty minutes now Dean!" Sam half yelled into the phone. Castiel laughed quietly when he heard Sam, and proceeded to get off of Dean.
"Sam, you really need to work on your timing." Dean said, smirking as he watched Cas put his shirt back on and try to fix his hair. "I'll be there in twenty minutes." Dean hung up before Sam could complain about having to wait. Dean threw his shirt back on before heading out to the car with Cas.
"It's getting late. Do you want me to drop you home before I pick up Sam or after?" Dean said when they got outside and he saw how dark it was.
"I can walk Dean, it's fine. I should get back and deal with Lucifer and Gabriel. Plus I wouldn't want Sam to have to wait any longer." Cas said with a smile as he thought about the fact that if Sam hadn't called, him and Dean would still be upstairs.
"Nope I'm driving you, not taking no for an answer. Your house is only down the street." Dean said as he kissed Cas' cheek and gave him a cute smile, hoping that Cas wouldn't refuse.
"Is this you trying to be cute?" Cas replied with a smirk as he got in the car.
"I think I'm adorable." Dean says with a wink as he starts down the street. They arrived at Castiel's house and just sat there for a moment.
"Dean" "Cas" they spoke at the same time.
"You first."
"No you."
" Okay, I just wanted to say that I'm never like this. I'm not the kind of person who ever rushed into things but... I really like you Dean. I mean we've only known each other for like three days but I feel like I've known you forever and I just... I like being around you. Okay that's it, what did you want to say?" Castiel blurted out before he lost the confidence to do so. Dean smiled at him." I was just going to tell you how much I liked you and ask, if even though we've only known each other for three days, if you... if you wanted to be my boyfriend? If not that's cool too, I mean it is really soon I just thought I'd-" Castiel cut off Dean's ranting with a kiss.
"Yes Dean, of course I'll be your boyfriend."
