"Huh?"
I quickly explained everything that I had talked about to Leah.
"We could visit all her siblings with her," I concluded.
"We've already got vacation plans for this year. You and Melody are going to New York, Mrs. Reed and I are joining you a little later. In December, we're going to Wyoming with, like everyone. That reminds me, I have to go buy a ticket for Leah too," Alice said.
"What about after December?" I asked her.
"We'll talk about that a little later," Alice said.
"Fine, but it's an idea?" I asked.
"It's an idea," Alice said. The doorbell rang and an eruption of knocks was brought onto the door.
"Kyle! You're girlfriend is here!" Minho called.
"I'll go get the door," I said. Leah walked into the kitchen, and started a conversation with Alice. I opened the door to find Melody bouncing up and down on her toes.
"Have you packed for New York yet?" she asked as she walked in.
"I packed this morning," I told her.
"So we have time to do whatever?" she asked.
"No specific reason that you came over?" I asked her.
"Well, you said the new foster kid was coming over today," Melody said.
"Yeah, she came over like thirty minutes ago," I said. We walked into the kitchen. Minho has joined Alice and Leah there.
"That's Kyle's girlfriend?" Leah asked.
"I'm not his girlfriend," Melody said as she grabbed a cookie. Leah looked over at Minho.
"Well, they should be dating," Minho said, holding his hands up.
"Minho?" Melody asked.
"Yeah?"
"Shut up."
"Yes, madam," Minho said. Alice let out a laugh and was quickly joined by Leah.
"Melody, this is Leah. Leah, this is my best friend, Melody," I said.
"You know, Melody also has a zillion siblings," Minho said.
"A zillion?" Leah asked.
"I have five sisters and four brothers," Melody said.
"Geez, I have four brothers, a sister, and a half sister, and I thought that was a lot.
"What are their names?" Melody asked.
"Brandon, Jesse, Olivia, Drake, James, and Fanya," Leah listed off all her siblings' names, "What about all your siblings' names?"
"Mina, Zach, Kelley, Albert, Rose, Jack, Jake, Jazzy and Lilac," Melody said.
"I'm happy that you two are making world peace and all but-" I stated.
"And Kyle has an even more confusing line of siblings," Minho said.
"Really? How?" Leah asked. I took a deep breath in, I hated explaining all of this.
"I have one sister, Alice. I had three stepsisters that became adoptive sisters, Jillian, Nicky and Ashley. I have two step brothers, West and Isaac. And I found out that I also have a stepsister named Freedom," I said. That sounded so much better out loud than it did inside my head.
"Let's go play some board game in the living room, and that means everyone," Alice said as she looked at Melody and I.
"Guess we're doing that instead," Melody whispered.
"Kinda wanted to go outside," I said.
"Me too," Melody whispered back.
"Come you two!" Alice called already from the living room.
"Coming!" we both called.

Ok, so it's a short part, I'm sorry. It's also a short chapter, I'm sorry for that too. Most of this chapter was like ALL dialogue. I'm sorry for THAT mostly.
It's New York time! I've kinda been dreading to write these chapters though.
I feel that after New York though, the book is going to come to a close quicker.
