"Let's begin. My name is Erik Simpson, but you can call me Mr. Simpson, and I'm currently 35. I live in New York, but I was born and raised in New Jersey. I obviously didn't write anything for this contest and an interesting fact about myself is that I have a daughter named Emilia and three boys named Ben, Leo and Simon," Mr. Simpson said. Levi was on his left, but Mr. Simpson motioned for the girl to his right to go next. The girl sat up straighter as she began to talk.
"My name is Pandora Rabel and I'm fifteen years old. I'm from Florida and the thing I wrote that I am thankful for are meadows of flowers. An interesting fact about me is that I am one of eight children," Pandora said. Why does everyone have big families these days? Pandora had long, red hair that flowed down her back. She was in a white, flowing dress with a flower crown made of daisies in her hair. Freckles dotted her red cheeks. She had blue eyes, like every red head I had met today.
"My name is Makenna Leen," the next girl began to talk, "I'm twelve years old and I'm from Florida as well. I wrote that I am thankful for the ocean that I live a few minutes away from. An interesting fact about me is that I enjoy surfing." Makenna had blue eyes, but they had a tint of green in them, almost as they were teal colored. She had bright blonde hair. She was shorter than all of us, probably the youngest as well. Even though she came from a warm climate she had enough sense to dress warmer for the trip. She was in jeans and a purple shirt that reached her elbows.
"My name is Alec O'Kane. I'm a fifteen year old sophomore in high school. I'm from Florida and I wrote about the dolphins I see when I'm out on the ocean. A fun fact about me is that if I'm not at school, I'm doing something at the ocean," Alec said. He had a haircut that you don't see around Michigan too often, at least I don't. It was cut short at the sides and was feathered at the top. He was a blond with brown eyes. He was wearing a muscle shirt and longer shorts with flip flops, you could really tell which one of us came from warmer and colder weather. The next kid started speaking, quickly afterwards.
"My name is Hunter Kay. I'm fourteen, almost fifteen years old. I'm from Alabama. I wrote about different animals that my family has helped heal, like hawks and all. I guess, something 'bout me is that even though my name is Hunter, I hate huntin more than anything," Hunter finished. He had a pretty deep voice and a slight accent. He too was blond, though he had a dirtier blond, with blue eyes. He had older looking jeans on with a large gray sweatshirt on.
"My names Ray, Ray Bustin. I'm fourteen too, guess I'm turning fifteen pretty soon. I'm from Alabama too. I wrote about fishin. One thing 'bout me is that I've known Hunt, Hunter I mean, and Cain since we were all able to sit up," Ray said. I had no idea who Cain was, but it didn't bother Ray. Ray had brown hair with the same colored brown eyes. He too was wearing older looking jeans, but with an older looking black sweatshirt.
"I'm Cain Paul," the next kid started to talk. Well, now we all knew what Cain Ray had been speaking off. "I'm fourteen years old, I got a bit to go to fifteen, not too much though. I'm from Alabama, apparently I speak differently 'cause I'm from there. I wrote about how pollution is affecting animals more than humans. Somethin 'bout me is that Hunter, Ray and I have been goin fishin almost every weekend, no matter the season or temperature since we've been eight years old." I wouldn't have the dedication to go fishing every weekend, I would get way too bored, way too quickly. Cain had freckles dotting half of if his face, with locks of brown hair that fell over his forehead. He had the same colored eyes and his hair. Just like his friends, he was dressed in some older jeans and a old sweatshirt, though his sweatshirt was green.
"My name is Rosa Vila and I'm thirteen years old. I just moved to Florida from England a year ago. I wrote about how lucky I am to be able to travel so much. An interesting fact about me is that I'm 50% Latino and 50% British," she concluded. She had a thick British accent and raven black hair. Her eyes were such a dark shade of brown that I swear that they were black. She was in a short red dress and had all her jewelry made of pearls. She had a pearl necklace, a pearl bracket, a string of pearls wrapped around her ankle and pearl earrings. She must really have a thing for pearls.
"My name is Katherine Vea and I'm thirteen years old, almost fourteen though. I live in New York State, though not in New York City. I wrote about the wonderful city life. Something about me is that I have a thing for all fashion trends," Katherine said. You could tell she thought a lot about how she looked. Her blonde hair was curled, she had makeup on to outline her brown eyes. She was dressed in ripped jeans and a sparkling, silver shirt.
"Hi, I'm Nani Pacak. I am thirteen years old. I'm from Florida, born and raised. I wrote about my black culture and how it's changed, how lucky I am that it has changed. Something about me is that I live in Florida, as I said, but I hate the ocean more than anything," Nani said. She had dark skin and dark, black hair. Her hair was braided in many braids, going all sort of ways. Her eyes were brown and she wore a pair of jean shorts and a purple T-shirt.
"I object to that statement!" Makenna said loudly. I remembered that she was the one that enjoyed surfing.
"Yeah, how can anyone hate the ocean?" Alec asked. He was the boy that didn't leave the ocean. Mr. Simpson let out a laugh.
"Lets let everyone finish, before we fire at one another with questions, there'll be time to do that," Mr. Simpson said, "please continue." Merida was next, I was sitting next to Merida. I didn't even know what to say.
"My name is Merida Abbot and I'm sixteen years old from sunny California. I wrote about the beach, since most of us enjoy it. An interesting fact about me is that I model in my free time," she finished. Great, now it was my turn.
"I'm Kyle Forest. I'm fourteen years old, though I'm turning fifteen in a few days. I'm originally from Montana, though I live in Michigan. I've realized Michigan is the best place to live. I wrote a paper with my best friend, Melody, we split it in half and in my half, I wrote about her-"
"Awwwwwwwww," Merida, Makenna, and Pandora said at the same time. My face blushed into a deep shade of red at their reaction.
"Something about me is that I didn't talk, at all, for four years straight," I continued, as though nothing happened, even though my face was burning.
"My name is Melody Reed," Melody started after a few long seconds. That part alone got her a few whispers. "I'm fourteen years old and I'm from Michigan, where I've been my whole life. I wrote my paper with Kyle, I only wrote half of it, and in my half, I wrote about him-"
"AWWWWWWWWWWW," cried every girl in the room, louder this time. A rosie pink blush found its way to Melody's face. She too carried on, as though nothing happened.
"Something infesting about me is that I do horseback riding," she finished. Joy started talking as soon as Melody finished.
"My name is Joy Force and I'm sixteen years old. I'm from the best state, California. The state that's always filled with warm weather and beaches. I wrote about how grateful I am that I'm able to talk. An interesting fact about myself is that I enjoy geocaching," she said with a large smile on her face.
"I'm Levi Qui, some of my friends call me LQ. I'm seventeen years old and I'm also from California. I wrote about surfing. A fact about me is that I do enjoy surfing," Levi said, trying to stay to the point.

Author's Note
Ok. So this is a really long chapter though nothing happens. It's pretty much all intros, but I mean, you kinda need to know these people.
I did promise a longer chapter and you got a really long chapter though. It's a little weird of a place to leave off, but it's the best place I could find.
Thanks for reading though!
