I grabbed my suitcase and swung my backpack on, following Alice out. The four of us, Melody, Alice, Mrs. Reed and I, were taking our flight out first. Goodbyes had already been said and I think we were all ready to leave.
We went onto the plane, as soon as I sat down in the seat, my head dropped and I fell back into the wonderful land of dreams.
We landed in only a few hours, all of us tired. We grabbed our things and then went to meet Max, who was supposed to come pick us up. Max was waiting in the car, outside of the airport. Alice went shotgun, earning herself a peck from Max. Mrs. Reed and Melody were talking their heads off. Alice and Max picked up a conversation. The only thing that I could think about though, was that I was finally home and I couldn't feel better about it.
•
"We're home!" Alice called into the house. Max grabbed a suitcase behind him, while I took the other one with me. Macy ran up, in a waddling run.
"You're home!" she cried as she went around, giving everyone a hug. Micheal and Mike came running in, giving the three of us all hugs.
"Where's Melody?" Mike asked.
"We dropped her off home," I told him.
"Well someone finally decided to show up," Minho said as he walked in.
"And you didn't miss me at all," I laughed.
"Nope, not at all, it was nice and quiet without you here," Minho said. Leah laughed at Minho's remark.
"Says the one that was miserable," she laughed. She had lightened up a little bit, she was smiling and didn't seem to hate everyone at first sight. She noticed me, studying her.
"What?" she asked me.
"Nothing, just glad to be home," I told her honestly.
"Weirdo," she mumbled, rolling her eyes.
"It's is ten PM! Everyone to bed!" Alice yelled. She scooped up Macy and Max picked up two laughing twin boys. Leah went to her own room, while Minho and I went to ours. I threw my suitcase in the corner of the room, where it would stay until I had to go back to Florida.
"So...how was New York?" Minho asked as we got ready for bed.
"Did you know that you have a twin?" I asked him.
"Oh, I do?" he asked.
"Yeah, his name is Hunter Kay and he has this vision that Melody and I are going to get married and have seven kids," I told him.
"That's crazy," Minho said.
"I know right," I said.
"You guys are going to have eight kids," Minho said, shaking his head back and forth. I grabbed the nearest pillow and chucked it at him. "You see, this is why I didn't miss you," Minho said.
"Oh, shut up, you missed me," I said.
"Sureeeee."
"Then you'll be perfectly fine when I go back to Florida," I said.
"Geez, can't you just stay in one place for awhile?" Minho asked.
"Wouldn't I want to," I stated, "how ever, if you're not going to miss me, I see no point." He chucked the pillow back at me, hitting me straight on in the face.
"This is why you're not in sports and I should be," Minho said.
"Then why aren't you?" I asked him.
"Too much money," Minho said.
"I'm sure Alice-"
"Nope, I'm not doing anything to bring money out of the house anymore. I need to get a job, especially if Alice is going to adopt the four of us, so future uncle, suck it up," Minho said.
"That just sounds weird," I said.
"It does," Minho replied.
"Never speak of it again?" I asked.
"Agreed."
