Chapter 4 — Halloween Night

It's Friday.

You were standing in front of the mirror, checking for the nth time on how you look. It took you more than an hour to finish your halloween glam. It wasn't much. Just some bruised up chick that died.

Your phone dinged loudly on your bed.

Jimin
where are you? hurry up you're five minutes late.

He was right. You are late. You were too busy redoing the big bruise on your cheek that you didn't bother to check the time. Now that you're all ready, you picked up the pace because you didn't want Jimin to wait longer. He's very impatient.

You grabbed your coat.

You decided to keep the dorm unlocked. Yoongi does not have the key to the door so you were being considerate.

Yoongi left the room hours ago and you didn't know where he was off to. That left you with enough time to prep yourself for Hoseok's party.

Running to the carpark in your leather boots, you found Jimin leaning against his car impatiently.

He was dressed up as an old ragged doll with patches all over his clothes.

"You're so slow." He said.

Jimin was clearly annoyed but he still opened the passenger door for you.

"My bad." You said and settled inside as you buckled on your seatbelt.

He entered the driver's seat and that's when you decided to compliment him.

"Nice costume."

Jimin turned on the engine and his rover roared into life.

"Thanks. I'm aware." He said smugly. You knew he was going to say that.

"Who did your makeup? That's some next level shit." He said, pointing at your cheek.

You grinned. "Me."

"You? Aren't you bad at art?"

You scowled at him. "I am."

Jimin chuckled. "It's nice."

"Thank you!" You said, glad that he believed you. You didn't spend minutes doing your face just for someone to think somebody else did it.

"Anyway, I'm picking someone up. Do you mind?"

"No." You said and turned the volume higher on Jimin's music. It was his love songs again.

After a short ride, you arrived at Central Avenue. Jimin turned his car to Metro Hotel's driveway and you couldn't help but stare at the tall gold and black building in awe.

"Your friend stays here?" You asked. Whoever his friend was, he must be loaded. This building looks 5-star.

He nods. "Yeah. He owns a condominium."

Jimin's eyes roamed around the place for a while until he stopped at one particular person. He quickly opened his window.

"Hey!" Jimin said and waved his hand in the air.
