Chapter 18 — Go Eunha"Ah, if it isn't Min Yoongi." Eunha said, a familiar smile on her face that you usually see from two friends who haven't seen each other in a long time.
Go Eunha looked outstanding. Two years of fashion school in Paris changed her entirely from clothes to aura, and she was radiating something new—confidence.
Your eyes goggled at her unintentionally. She's a goddess, you thought and wondered if this was how celebrities looked like in real life; you don't just see Eunha's beauty everywhere.
"The one and only." Yoongi said, returning her friendly smile with a smirk.
Eunha's gaze fell on you and her eyes flashed brightly. She turned to Yoongi again.
"I'm quite disappointed to meet you here when you could have visited me back home. Didn't you know when I arrived?" She asked.
"Of course, I knew. Who else would take my spotlight off the newspaper?"
At that moment, you realized Yoongi's friend wasn't just any person. She was part of the rich and famous. Immediately, you felt left out.
"You should've called me." Eunha pointed out.
Yoongi shrugged and smiled. "You know I'm a busy person."
"You never change." She said and rolled her eyes. "Anyway, who is this?"
Eunha beamed at you excitedly and patiently waited for Yoongi to introduce you properly. She has always been fond of making new friends. Specially now that you'd be the first one after two years of only French peers.
"Oh." Yoongi said as he remembered that he was with you. "No one."
That was your cue to start acting like you didn't know Yoongi. As you were looking away, you tried to hide the pain you were feeling. Hearing him say that affected you more than you thought.
Eunha ignored him and unexpectedly extended her hand to you.
"Hello, I'm Eunha. Nice to meet you." She said, smiling.
You quickly glanced at Yoongi but he wasn't looking at you. Looking at Eunha, you could tell she was aware you were pretending to be a stranger, so you gave up on it entirely and slowly took her hand. It was soft like you expected it to be.
"Y/N. Nice to meet you too." You said shyly.
Yoongi cleared his throat.
"It was nice seeing you again, Eunha, but I have somewhere else to be." He said.
"Already?" She asked. "I was hoping you two would sit back down and accompany me."
"Maybe next time." He smiled apologetically. "I'll see you later, Eunha."
"Alright. Bye!" She said, waving. "Bye, Y/N!"
"Bye!" You said and waved back.
You left the coffee shop and was overwhelmed by the sudden cold breeze. When you looked back, Eunha was already at the counter, telling the cashier her order.
"You can stop pretending like you don't know me now." Yoongi said.
"It was pointless. She found out." You told him. "So, are you close?"
