Chapter 10 — Found You
"Slow down, Yoongi." Taehyung said as he rushed to catch up with Yoongi's rapid steps in the hallway.
Yoongi turned around.
"I'm surprised you can talk." Yoongi said, remembering the time Taehyung disregarded his note. "What do you want?"
"Drinks tonight?" Taehyung said. "It's on me."
"All of a sudden?"
"Are you in or not?" Taehyung asked.
Yoongi's face turned sour. "Are you crazy? We have classes tomorrow."
"Ew, dude. You never reject my invites." Taehyung said. "Besides, morning classes tomorrow are cancelled remember?"
"Oh, right." Yoongi nods in realization. "Sure, I'm in."
Taehyung grinned and smacked Yoongi's shoulder with a hard thud that made Yoongi lurch forward.
"Catch you later!" He waved and jogged away.
Yoongi stopped by the dormitory only to change his attire. It's been a while since he was in a suit and tie. He always felt good wearing it because he was aware he looked ten times better with it.
He left after taking a look at the mirror. Students at at the hallway stopped to look at him when he passed by, wondering why he was dressed so formal. Was it another Minsons board meeting or even better, a big company party?
He ignored the stares as always but it does flatter him every time it happens.
Yoongi was about to step out to the parking lot when he saw you standing outside Nayeon's office. When you looked up from the scratch papers on your hand, you saw him.
"Yoongi." You suddenly said his name for no reason.
He spared you one last look before he left and went inside his car. You watch him drive away.
You slowly touched your mouth as you closed your eyes, and then you began slapping it.
"Why. did. you. do. that." You said in between slaps. The number of times you attacked your mouth at that moment gathered attention from the people around you. You received a lot of strange looks.
Great. They probably think you're mad.

Yoongi arrived at the restaurant where he was meeting his parents. The last time he saw them was the opening day for Minsons bar and casino.
"How are you?" His mother asked and pulled him in a soft hug. She was very relieved. How could she not be when her only son is present for lunch?
"I'm good." He said, hugging her back.
"Sit." Mrs. Min urged as she pulled him towards their table where his dad was already eating his plate of lobster thermidor.
Yoongi sat down awkwardly and looked everywhere but his father. They never got along well and things got tense after the stunt he did.
"Son." Mr. Min said.
"Dad."
It wasn't a question that their relationship went downhill after the opening. Because of that, Yoongi caused quite a stir especially in the press and it was a triggering point of embarrassment for Mr. Min's pride as a highly praised business man.
