Chapter 41 — Jimin's Little SignsLeaving the Jurassic Jungle boat ride was void-like. Either your brain had stopped working or you were just overreacting. When you finally reached the outside, felt the sun beaming down on you and the cold air caressing your skin, you suddenly snapped.
Far away to your left, the boys were huddled together. Yoongi was already with them, laughing at something Seokjin had said. You walked towards them, dying to reunite and talk to the others so you could forget about what just happened, or so you thought.
Why is it that every time something happens between the both you, the first thing you do is attempt to forget it? Was it because of the embarrassment or the fear of having ridiculous expectations that might lead to weeping and tears?
Wow. That sounded new coming from you. Expectations that might lead to weeping and tears, you laughed. You might as well write a book about it online.
Jimin spotted you and immediately jogged towards you. He was smiling brightly, happy to see you after your strange disappearace for a period of time.
"Hey! Where have you and Yoongi been? I—" He stopped in front of you and stared at your stunned face. His gaze dropped to your cheek where your hand was still touching it.
Jimin's smile vanished and his eyes grew dark.
"We're going home." He growled.
He held your wrist and walked to the trackless train with you trailing behind him, pulled by the angry yet gentle force of his hand.
"Oi! Where are you guys going?" Jungkook worriedly called from afar which gathered the attention of all the boys. They were looking at you now. Yoongi, in particular, lost his grin as he watched you leave. He could tell Jimin was mad and thought, 'did she tell him?'
Taehyung bitterly pulled a ten dollar bill from his pocket and placed it on Hoseok's palm.
"I told you something like this was going to happen." Hoseok said smugly and kept the bill in his front pocket.
Taehyung looked confused and at the same time, sad because he lost ten dollars. "But why?"
"Dude, if I had a girl best friend, ain't no way I'll allow any of you to hit on her. Please." Hoseok said.
"Not even me?" Taehyung asked, pointing to himself.
Hoseok glanced sideways at him and dragged his eyes on Taehyung from head to toe. Then, he looked away without any comment. Taehyung frowned.
You got off the train at the entrance lobby. Jimin was heading for the parking lot.
"What's wrong?" You asked him.
"What did he do?" He asked angrily.
"Nothing." You responded.
He turned around abruptly. He didn't look happy.
"I can tell when you're lying, Y/N." He said, calmly this time. "What did he do?"
