Chapter 21 — House of Glass
You didn't expect to be walking out of an American diner with Jeon Jungkook and trying to figure out which vehicle he bought as you stared at the wide parking lot that the restaurant had.
Jungkook coughed awkwardly beside you.
Jungkook and you were not close. You knew each other by names and a few other information that slipped through the days when you met him at Hoseok's party and Jimin's hang outs, but that was it.
"On your way." He said.
You nodded, and headed to where the cars were parked but Jungkook grabbed your shoulders and turned you the other way.
"Nope, not there." He said.
The next thing you know, you were in front of a slick and sexy black motorcycle. A Vulcan 1700 Vaquero.
A wide smile appeared on your face. You stared at the bike in awe as it sits in its shining glory. You've always wanted to see vehicles like this up close.
"Nice ride." You commented, wanting to glide your fingertips on the surface, but you were afraid to put such flaws like fingerprints that might ruin its beauty.
Jungkook grinned. "Thanks."
There were two helmets hanging on the handle. Jungkook told you to get one, and you complied. As you were putting on your helmet, Jungkook took a burgundy scarf that was inside the storage of his bike.
"Here, it's gonna get extra chilly." Jungkook said and passed you the scarf.
"What about you?" You asked him.
"I'm warm enough."
You nodded and wrapped the scarf around your neck. Jungkook settled himself on his motorcycle and you did the same.
You made yourself comfortable behind him as it was your first time riding this kind of vehicle. You felt the adrenaline rush through you like it was lightning. Although it was already cold because of the approaching winter, you were desperate to feel the wind on your face.
"Does Yoongi usually make you do secret missions?" You asked out of curiosity. A secret mission, you almost laughed. Are they still children?
"Yeah, mostly on the other guys. I wasn't actually expecting you." He said.
Jungkook revved up his engine and the motorcycle roared to life. You grinned at the sound it made.
"Hold me." Jungkook said hesitantly. "Uhh...if the waist is too uncomfortable, you can hold my shoulders."
You agreed and placed both of your hands on his shoulders. It was less awkward than going for the waist because that would mean hugging him. He suddenly took off and your hands immediately gripped tightly on his shoulders. Jungkook felt it and laughed.
"I didn't know you were a biker kind of guy." You said as you swooshed through the busy streets of the city.
"Really? Do I look more like a car guy?" Jungkook asked.
You shake your head even though he couldn't see you. "No, I just thought you were too young to have a license."
"Hey!" Jungkook said.
