-Mana P.O.V-
"It's so dark...I'm scared...".
I pant heavily, I can't breath...
-Flashback-
"I'm scared...", there's a blackout in the house. "Asano-kun is...not here".
"Are you okay?", that mysterious boy appeared again.
"M-Me!? I'm doing just fine!", I snorted.
"Stop being so stubborn", he glared and grabbed my hand.
"Hey! Let go of me!!", I grumbled.
"I'm with you, so you will be just fine...I promise..I will be with you...even at the darkest time", the boy blushing.
I know him somewhere...who is he? His name...his name is...
-Akashi P.O.V-
"Akashi-kun! I found Mana-chan cellphone!", Satsuki gave it to me. "Where?", I asked abruptly. "It's lying on the floor", Satsuki said. "I see...then this is must be the place where Haizaki kidnapped him", I mumbled. "Akashi-kun, I'll go look some more", Satsuki panicked.
"Fortunately Ryota asked Daiki, Satsuki, Tatsuya, and Atsushi for help, it would be easier this way".
As I run about the hallway, a strange place piqued my interest, the basement. It's odd that there's no sign to prevent non authorities to enter the basement. "Akashi, did you find her?", Daiki ran to me, sweating. "I think I know where she is...", I glanced the storage room. The door...I wonder if it's locked.
Daiki already prepare the stance to burst through the door.
"Wait", I halt him.
I opened it slowly, "It's unlocked".
-Mana P.O.V-
"Someone...who...".
"Mana!!! Are you there!?", that unbelieavable loud voice definitely Daiki voice.
"I'm here...", I said weakly. I wonder if they can hear me...
Oddly enough Akashi seems to hear me, despite how weak my voice is.
"There you are", Akashi sighed in relief.
"I'm locked...inside this locker", I said shakily.
"Ill break you free", he said hastily. "Daiki, find a wrench". Daiki nodded obediently. The wrench was found, Akashi tried to break the locker with that, after the locker broke he pulled me out from it...he embrace me with a warm welcome...
"This sensation...is almost the same...with that boy...".
-Akashi P.O.V-
"How dare he use Mana WEAKNESS", I clenched my fist.
Mana smiled, "Don't blame Haizaki...there must be something that weigh him down...that's why don't mad at him".
"Too kind Mana...",
-Mana P.O.V- (after the match)
Ryota won the match. "Congratulation Ryota", I smiled. "Thanks but...how about you? You just-". "Dont worry about me", I glanced at his foot...Haizaki must've done something to Ryota. "Ryota sit", I ordered. "But my senpai-".
"I told them to wait for you, don't worry", I massage his foot.
"Ow!", he winced in pain.
"Haizaki did this to you right?", I asked.
Ryota was dumbfounded when I ask...he really is...kind.
"Thanks Manacchi...", Ryota blushed

I heard a bustling voice in the bushes, and Daiki voice included too. "Damn you!", Daiki was about to punch Haizaki. "Daiki!", I intervene and get the punch instead.
"Ow".
"What the-!? Mana! What are you-". "That's enough", I brushed my cheeks.
"That hurts!!!", I glared.
I tapped Haizaki shoulder, "You really want to get the Miracles titles...". Haizaki face stiffened. "If you really want it that badly...play fair next time".
"Huh? You're...not mad at me?", Haizaki confused. "Yes, but...it's not that big deal...", I blushed. "You're weird!!", Haizaki mocked but with a pink tint on his face.
"Huh?".
"Crybaby! Weirdo!", he escape after that.
"What's...his problem anyway?".
"Screw this! Are you okay Mana? Your cheek-". "I'm fine", I cut Daiki.
"Akashi will mad at me...for sure", Daiki grumbled.
"Why?".
* * *
It's getting late, I already told the others to go home without me...now I'm on my own.
"You're late", someone hit my head. "Knock it off", I glared. Akashi was standing next to me emotionless. "Why are you here? I told you to go home without me", I snorted. "I'll do what I want", Akashi said proudly.
"Is he...waiting for me?".
"Let's go", Akashi offered his hand. I take his hand, "Kay...".
* * *
Instead of going home, Akashi lead me to a certain basketball field near the stadium. "Akashi, what are we doing here?".
"I want to say something privately", he dribble his basketball.
"Huh?".
"In the finals...we will face Seirin", Akashi said solemnly.
"But in the semi finals you will face Shuutoku right? How can you be so sure that we will face Seirin in the finals?".
"Because my prediction never wrong", he throwed a three point shoot.
"If you say so...", I shrugged.
"Seirin is a formidable opponent", he commented.
"Taiga and Tetsuya there...of course they...".
"If we win the finals, I will tell you everything", Akashi looked at me seriously.
"Huh? What are you-".
"The truth about that day...", Akashi said sullenly.
