The only time I was ever this broken down and tired was when Ester convinced me to rock climb and cliff dive. I fell off a cliff quite literally. It wasn't a fun time.

This though was nothing compared to that. My body was beat and I wasn't sure if I would be able to move anything within the next four centuries. Why do I feel so exhausted? As I yawn and open my eyes I realize I'm in an unfamiliar place.

I sit up, frowning and take in my surroundings. I'm in a huge fricking bed that I could roll over twenty times and still bed in this nude satin bed. The sheets and pillows shallow my tiny form and the Queen of England would definitely approve of the golden color. The sheer canopy is open and I see the standard mirror hanging and my eyes found the reflective crystal ball on the bed side table that matched. The walls have various designs on them of Enchantment and its people and the curtains conceal where I am and the time of day. The telescope looking object near the window catches my attention.

Before I can take in the rest of the room or inspect the telescope thingy, Zayden said My little wave, please, the room is not what is dire.

I huff, Yeah well Laufeia is gone. What else is there for me to do?

Maybe look to your left at the woman who has been staring at you.

I blink, surprised I hadn't notice Izabelle standing at the cherrywood door.

"Hello," I awkwardly mumble.

She smiled beautifully. Gods is this woman beyond any other. I couldn't help but grin at her blunt gorgeousness.

"Your highness," she elegantly placed her fist over her heart and bowed deeply.

I check to see what I'm wearing, a short blue silk nightdress. I battle my way out of the bed and covers and blankets.

Standing I say, "Izabelle, of all the people I don't want bowing to me it's you. I don't mean to offend it's just you're like kind of amazing. A far better and more courageous queen than I will ever be. My point is I see you as above myself and it's silly for you, such an ancient and wise queen, to bow to such a cluessless excuse of a queen." I frown some more, "I know that makes no sense whatsoever."

She rose, and glided over. I admire her figure hugging lace mint green dress. She also had her platinum blonde hair twisted and pinned in a low bun. A simple tiara with a golf ball sized sapphire.

"All dressed up, special occasion?" I wink.

Her expression becomes tender, "Melody today we are putting to rest your father and the other fallen Elementals."

My face crumbles. I forgot how Laufeia had been using my father's body as a power source. Had she been using any other Elementals? Who was left?

"Oh," I say.

Shocking me, Izabelle pulls me in for a hug, "The whole kingdom and people from several realms are here. But ther3 queen hasn't been dressed. After the ritual we are going to name you and your other Elementals the current rulers. Are you prepared for all that in one day?"

I look and turn away. I was not planning on that first thing. "I can do it."

"Are you positive? Everyone will understand if you are not there, Melody, it's not to be ashamed of."

"Izabelle, it's my father we're putting to rest. I have to be there. For myself, for the other Elementals, for my people." I quickly wipe the tear that escaped.

"Then let's get the queen ready," Izabelle snapped and as the door opens I see the servant girls that rush in carrying an extragent ball gown.

My jaw drops, "Oh, Izabelle, you have lost your mind! I can't wear that!"
