Deep Blue

Heya! Pink here again with a new chapter up and running! Hope y'all enjoy this one because this one came straight out of the blue. Hehe, literally if you look at the title.

The light fancied between the clouds and the wind brushed slightly against the couple's skin. It rose and dropped by its lack of speed and soon danced with the trees that fiddled in the depths of the forest.

The sand kicked behind them and fell gently with the others as the vibrance of laughter filled the crisp air that expressed its warm touch to every living part and subject.

Ocean currents tumbled onto the now soaked brown sand and took in the salty liquid that furrowed across. It's water crashed slightly into the poles of the deck that held a firm standing. It shook with footsteps.

The fire dragon slayer had swiftly kicked his onyx brown sandals onto the wood of the deck as his smile brightened more than ever. His left hand collided with the fair skin of a hand with his girlfriend's, Lucy. Her sandals too waited alongside his.

As the golden sphere erupted with such twilight light along the Magnolia coast, Natsu and Lucy still dazed their shining gaze past the blinding light and onto the deep blue depths of the ocean that filled the air with such a strong and salty odor.

"Ya thinking what I'm thinking?" Natsu broke the silence with such a mischievous tone.

"I never think like you do." Lucy furrowed her eyebrows in a way any mistrusted person would if their own life was in danger. In her case, it was considered.

"Just live a little!" His tone erupted with such a carefree way as he scooped her in his ways in a bridal way.

"What exactly are you doing?!?!" Lucy fretted.

Before any response, his bare feet swept across the bending of the wood before them and resulted in a free fall.

The fretted scream for Lucy echoed through the crisp air as well as Natsu's joyful laugh eased her tumbling with fear nerves.

A break shot through the air and soon the muffled flow was now present. Natsu had freed the blonde from his grip but still his grip of a hand surrounded her calm nerves that fluttered beneath her skin.

Their faded kicking held their place as they're surroundings was plastered with a deep blue tone and the colorful coral's filled their daze. The muffled flow still echoed throughout every single movement.

The scaled creatures swam fluently in the deep depths without a care and look destined for a certain achievement or goal. It fascinated the two very much.

Lucy's eyes were bulging with such a sparkle as if they were stars themselves. Her delicate smile was brighter than sun it self.

That's why he lived with all his fiery heart.

His eyes fell as he pecked her cheek gently with still the grip of her fair hand.

The celestial mage turned around as his thumb caressed her chin.

Her right hand held his cheek as very carefully, she leaned in and pressed her gentle lips against his. The moment felt a lifetime. No other than something else. Thy ignored the fact they fell in the blue-clear sea with their dry daily clothes that now appeared soaked than ever. No such could interrupt this moment.

They parted with their eyes still the twinkle of the hearts. Their foreheads leaned and pressed against each other as their place in the ocean still kicked higher than any other.

Before they could swim upwards for the need of air, Lucy suggested that she could at least get a souvenir to remember this gorgeous moment. With the nod of his head, she rose her arm up before their grip left and she soon swam deeply down.

The pearly shell pricked her hand softly as it was held in her grasp and the few others of prickly shells that fancied its look both land and water.

Feeling satisfied, she swam up with a handful of shells and the atmosphere broke and she was welcomed to a new one.

Just as thought, her love waited there with still that toothy smile.

His salmon-pink hair stick to his forehead, however, the light still brought that welcoming and loving look in his eyes more than ever.

"You got the ones you needed? I didn't know you could even breathe that long." Natsu joked.

A cheery giggle escaped her lips, "I know and yes. I was hoping to even get one for Happy. If he doesn't break it."

"Let's just hope it's smaller than his amount of clumsiness."

"Relax, we all know how Happy is like." Lucy said with the rolling of her eyes.

Natsu chuckled as they both swam to  the coast of the deep blue.

As welcomed to the sand, stars drilled the night sky with a bright twinkle of light and the reflection of the moon appeared slowly.

Their soaked clothes stuck to their skin like a second skin.

The blonde carefully placed the shells into her soaked pocket and looked back at the dragon slayer who still had that gleam in his eyes.

His arm carefully strolled around her waist as she strolled closer and just as slowly, her arm swiftly wrapped around his neck that was cloaked with his scaled scarf.

He leaned in as she did and therefore they did,

Shared a heart melting kiss near the deep blue and under the light of a million stars.
