Third POV
(Back to the library)
Yeekyu spent her time rummaging other kinds of book to read at the library nearby. Minki is quite busy on typing with the keyboard and dragging his mouse along. There were few young adults reading on certain seats and teenagers would be likely sitting on the floor. She found a book which is fiction. She wasn't a fan of any such kind of imagination, but wasting time to find another object is not one of her taste either. Yeekyu walked back to the counter where Minki is on, and sat on a desk instead.
"Miss, chairs are invented to sit on, not the desk," He mocked, not leaving an eye on the screen. Seems she was too stubborn to follow, she flipped over the book and begins. He sighed and slide down his glasses over his shirt and goes to her.
"'The only way'? Seriously, since when are you into time traveling?" [A/N: dont mind the title of the book, i just made it out lol] He peeped over her shoulders causing Yeekyu to motion away from him. "I'm just bored, and had nothing to do at all!" She whined as she dropped the book on her laps.
"Shh! Excuse me, m'lady, but you are inside the library," Minki shushed her and she rolled eyes instead and hop off the desk. "If I find this amusing, I'm going to return the book you asked me to," He was dumbfounded. "What book?"
She find it annoying. Was he really that dense?! She rubbed her temple, wondering if she suppose to tell him or not just because he might put this as a trick. "That Demigod blahblah," He raised a brow. "I only know that I read about, but not that I gave you something? A book?"
She was somehow frustrated, she had no time to argue and ignored him instead. She paced to the vacant table yet someone blocked her way. A person wearing a grayish hoodie with a peek of cap and mask that only covers its mouth and nose. "You're blocking my way, sir," He didn't seem to respond.
Is he deaf? "Excuse me," she was about to walk around him but he followed her step. "So it's you," whose voice was low and mature. "Sorry, but you really need to move away," Minki butts in as he blocked an arm between them. A hoodie guy lifted his head to take a look on librarian. ". . . I see, you aren't there yet," Two of them bewildered with his eerie statements.
"Do we . . . know you?" Yeekyu blurted, furrowed brows to the hoodie guy. "No, but you will, Yeekyu," she flowed with goosebumps althrough out her body. She can't even identify whose voice is. She doubted that it wouldn't be someone who is nearby their current house seems it was quite far from here.
"That's it, get out," Minki pushed the hoodie guy with force that even revealed his face.
He was around late 20's, or shall we say somehow older than her. His face somehow intimidating and had common hairstyles that Busan could have. But one thing that she find it disturbing is that his pupils are filled with pure dark. Not by judging the colors but the literal on it. Yeekyu never felt an intense aura from that guy after exposing his identity.
Minki completely kicks him out the library and left a threat to him, "If you show up again, I will report to the police that you are one hella stalker to my friend after all!" He yelled at him. Oddly, the guy giggling as it turns his laugh nonsensical. Minki squinted as he kept his cool.
He sighed deeply and have a look to the librarian who still standing on an opened door he was holding at. "The end of the world, be soon fulfill, so, make sure that she shouldn't know that," He excruciating smirks before his heels turned around the walked away.
"Psh, weirdo," Minki shut the door yet surprised by seeing a girl already beside him. She stared with confusing look on her eyes. She couldn't even decrypting any of the stranger's lines. It's either she suppose to trust his words, or trust her instincts?
This is even make no sense to her. Why it only occurred today? She didn't know him, but he know her.
Another shock of wave flows her body once more, overthinking the man behind the hood, has something its meaning from his speech.
"On the second thought... " He conversed. Yeekyu glanced over him as Minki looked back. "He is one of the regulars here," She had a moment to understand what he was talking about. Until she made herself a theory.
"He might know about the article you read to me! Then that means, is he looking for the Source or-" "Or maybe you?" She glared at him, annoyed of his daring assumptions when they are in serious situation. She threw a punch on his arm as he mumbles a curse under his breath.
"It's not that way! What I mean is, what if it is you? Like, how come he know you, right?" He seemed to be unsure but certain at the same time, which she find it difficult if she could take it for real or not.
"You know what? I'm going to search that Source,"
