1.5 weeks later...
Jasmine's POV
I wake up that morning and remember what day it is; the day Mom comes back home from the hospital! James still hasn't been caught by the police but a notice is out and if anyone sees him, they'll hopefully call the police.
I climb out of bed and quickly get dressed. I haven't been to school since the accident and the year's almost over, but as long as I go back for the last few weeks, I'll be able to move to seventh grade next year. Running down the stairs and to the front door, I call for Wilmer. A few seconds later he comes racing down the stairs to join me.
"Ready?" he asks and I nod in excitement. Having Mom lose her memory was painful but it was amazing when she regained it. The hospital told us to come today since she was well enough. I'm really looking forward to my life being normal again.
Wilmer's POV
We're on our way to the hospital but I have some news for Jasmine that I'm not sure she's going to like. According to the hospital, Demi's violent behavior was bad enough that she may need to go to psych. I think I'll convince the hospital, though, that she wasn't taking her bipolar medication in the hospital and that's probably why she lashed out. I just hope they believe me.
Demi's POV
I am looking forward to Wilmer and Jasmine visiting today more than other days. The doctors say that I am well enough. I can't wait to go home and have a slightly more normal life. I'm sure my fans are worried about me, but I don't think I'll be going back to work until I am sure that I am safe from James and that Jasmine is okay from when I forgot her.
"We're here!" Jasmine exclaims, half-running into the room.
"Hi Jasmine! Hi Wilmer!" I say excitedly as they stand beside my bed.
Wilmer seems awfully quiet as the nurse comes into the room.
"Now," the nurse says, "I know that we discussed letting you go home today, but, with some of your violent behaviors in mind we may have to...
