Wilmer and I go to visit Mom the next morning. She still hasn't woken up and the doctors seem to be losing hope, but I won't. Wilmer isn't the happiest and it's obvious that he misses Mom a lot. I wish that she could just wake up now. I miss her too...
Wilmer's POV
Jasmine seems to miss Demi a lot, as I do. She hasn't woken up and it's been quite a while already. I think that the doctors and nurses are losing faith in that she is ever going to wake up.
When we arrive at the hospital, Jasmine is in a hurry to see her mom. We walk straight up to the ICU, which is a habit to us. Demi has a private room, but is still staying in the ICU and has since the night of the fire.
We make it to her room and step inside. Demi isn't there.
"Where's Mom?" Jasmine asks, looking up at me with a glisten of tears in her eyes.
"I don't know," I reply, a little scared, "Let's go ask a nurse."
I call a nurse over and ask about Demi and if she's been moved.
"Right!" the nurse remembers, "You should have been notified. Demi..."
